Hotel Staywell DX

I would say you get exactly what you paid for here. It’s a cheap hotel. My bedsheets were dirty, my towel had multiple stains, everything was dusty, and the bathroom had leaking water and areas of mold. The only positive thing here was the friendly staff, the food service, and a sweet welcome gesture with snacks and water. Would recommend if you only need a place to leave your luggage.

Place was clean and the staff friendly. Food was nice and fresh. Internet was though sketchy at places and had it’s off and on moments.

If you just want a place to sleep and leave your stuff so you can travel the city, then this is the place for you. The room is comfortably cold and spaceous.

But... there are dead roaches. There is a window that cannot close. There is a stench that takes a while for one to get used to. The shower is sketchy. The towels are washed but still looks dirty. Oh, and the wifi is so weak. I have to sit at the lobby where sometimes the A/C is not on so flies are everywhere.

I had a good time at this hotel because I just needed a place to sleep. Ohhhh and they have those travel package things where they can hook you up with a personal driver to take you to Agra, Jaipur or around Delhi.

This hotel is in a handy location that makes it easy to venture out and explore the city. It is on a busy street, so you hear lots of blaring car horns from your room...but that's just the music of the big cities in India ;) The food from the restaurant in the hotel was delicious (but did take a while...so be patient). The staff were all very friendly and nice, and there was a security guard stationed outside at all times, so it felt very safe.

The staff are great, and the room is simple but comfortable.

Stayed here for Davali and our first night in India! The street that Staywell is located on was chaotic and messy but the hotel was excellent! The rooms were clean, cosy and the bed extremely comfortable! The staff were friendly and accomodating. They even gave us chocolates for Divali and complimentary ice cream! We had a great time in the restaurant with beers, butter chicken and watching fireworks from the rooftop.

Overall, it was a good place. Staffs were very warm and friendly. Room is just like shown in the website, what you see is what you get. Clean and comfortable. Busy street in front with plenty of places to eat.

Superb comfy room with excellent beds. Service was friendly, bathroom good and the shower was very powerful. The staff were extremely helpful and always willing to offer suggestions, answered all our questions and arranged taxi with a smile. The location is convenient, the train station is only a 15 minute walk away.

General cleanliness was great. Good location, from the train station you only need about a 15 minute walk to get to the hotel. The staff spoke very good English. We stayed in a standard room which was spacious and brigh, and the beds were very comfortable. Food was very expensive, but delicious, and service was friendly.

Stayed for an overnight to catch our early morning train. Close to the train station, it hardly took 10 minutes to walk. Rooms clean and tidy. Comfortable beds. The bathroom was good, but the only problem we had with the shower which was draining very slowly

Perfect location, all public transport nearby. Staff was friendly, polite and knowledgeable, and we booked a short trip from them. Space in the room was adequate and it was very quiet.

Nice budget property for short stays or even more. Good location. A short taxi ride to the city center and historic sites and shopping places. Area around the hotel was noisy but inside was quiet and clean. Room good, not too big but fine. The bathroom needs a makeover as it seems a bit dull, the shower was very weak and some faucets did not work well.

Hotel seems oriented to serving visitors from other parts of India rather than other countries. Room had unpleasant odor (mothballs placed in sink for some reason contributed) & room was never cleaned during 4 night stay. Area around hotel is sketchy despite proximity to metro & railway station. I did not see any signs of smoke detector or other fire safety features & room had no secondary egress like window.

Provide simple but good food. WiFi worked well throughout the stay. The bed was comfortable and everything was clean inside the room. Our first room was quite small, so we changed our room. Our room next room was great, with too much space. The staff were always helpful, and their knowledge about the area was excellent.

I am very impressed with the friendly staff. They were all kind and helpful. The food that was delivered to our room was nice, the room was extremely good and clean with a large bathroom. Perfect location for train and leisure travelers as both the city center and train station are nearby.

Toilet with diarrhoea, bathroom dirty, dirty towel on the floor, very slow, ordered coffee and tea at 7am and follow up at half past 7 never arrived. The only good is the bed which is comfortable. Overall it is overpriced.

Hotel is located in a very nice location, the train station is about 15 minutes walk away and it is also close to a couple of good restaurants. The hotel room was really good with all the necessary amenities, and the staff were helpful, provided us with maps of the city and called a taxi for us when we needed it.
