Agreat place to stay when visiting st. Augustine.
Pros:

The staff were extremely helpful which allowed us to have an early check iin. The Edgewater is indeed on the river's edge which was great. It is just over the bridge from old St Augustine which is where we wanted to visit so all in all I would recommend it.

Cons:

The decor of the room was a little 'tired'.

The view is amazing. We love the location.
The staff could be a little more friendly. Just a little more personality. One older lady that checked us in was very sweet and had personality you like to see when you walk into a business. We have stayed here multiple times. And will continue to come back.

Heel vriendelijke mensen. Goed ontbijt, allemaal goed verzorgd. Kleinschalig en gezellig en sociaal plekje met uitzicht op het prachtige St. Augustine.

The property was clean, good breakfast, nice walk over the Bridge of Lions to the Town. Beautiful views across the River. The two Gentlemen at the desk were very friendly and welcoming.

Cons:

The pool area could use attention. Some nice plants and chairs and painting around the pool. We did not use the pool.Also the exterior of the Motel could use some updating. The area where you eat breakfast could use updating but is very clean.

Awesome location in Saint Augustine
Pros:

We have been staying at The Edgewater Inn for at least 25 years and it continues to provide us with an excellent home away from home. It is one of my favorite places to stay! You simply can't beat the location—it's right at the Bridge of Lions on the waterfront, just a short walk to historic downtown. One of my favorite things is sitting in the rocking chairs on the back porch outside the room, watching the boats and ships glide by on the river and the sunsets. It's so peaceful and relaxing!

The inn is always exceptionally clean and well maintained, and the staff is consistently friendly, welcoming, and happy to help with anything you need. The breakfast is another highlight, featuring delicious homemade quiche and egg casseroles along with other fresh breakfast options. If you're looking for a comfortable, charming place with incredible views and outstanding hospitality, I highly recommend the Edgewater Inn.
