Why bag all mystuff up like trash?????
Cons:

I have been staying there for awhile now for work . I paid for 2 nights come to room after work changed my clothes and left to get food ,come by 20min later and all mystuff is gone and room is cleaned!!! They say i owed for another night ,I said fine u have my card on file but instead they took all my stuff put into trash bags then put it somewhere wtf?????

Pros:

The modernized room decor was nice enough.

Cons:

Room had an odd smell that was unpleasant.
No microwave or coffee maker in room. No WiFi. Hard bed and lumpy pillows. All for nearly $200!

Great budget hotel near Santa Barbara
Pros:

This hotel is now known as Vagabond Inn-Carlinteria South. It’s actually no longer a Motel 6. It completely fit my requirements for a three nights stay near Santa Barbara. The hotels in Santa Barbara are ridiculously expensive. So if you go just down the coast about 15 minutes, you’re in Carpinteria. Very reasonable prices and it reminds me of how Santa Barbara used to be before it got all glam.
I arrived a little bit before check-in time, and I was greeted by Dot who was working the front desk. I immediately felt at ease in her presence. This is just a very simple, basic motel, but the price was right. I would definitely stay here again in the future.
It’s super close to the Albertsons, grocery store and a Starbucks and some other cool things in the shopping center that’s about a five minute walk away.

Awful business
Pros:

We stayed in the Studio 6 portion of the hotel. My experience with customer service was awful.
I booked a room for two nights for the family. It was nothing fancy but that would have been ok. I called two days before and tried to modify to one night. They said wait until check in. I tried to change at check in. They said wait until check out. At check out they told me to call a corporate number.
I have emailed and called and they have said I would receive a refund and yet it has been more than 6 months and nothing - no reply no contact no refund.
Don’t stay with this scamming hotel.
