Fantastic luxury stay
Pros:

This is a charming family run hotel in Poperinge (10min drive to Ypres), which has all the extras.
We received a welcome drink on arrival, and shown around the hotel by the staff. Our room was clean, spacious and very well designed with a jacuzzi bath in the room.
There were lots of amenities, including a day bag for walks/day out to store your things.
The pool and jacuzzi outside were well maintained and clean, the pool was heated and the general grounds of the hotel were very well landscaped and spacious.
In the garden there was a well stocked honesty bar, along with optional sauna.
There was covered parking as well as EV charging, although this was not covered.
Breakfast was exceptional with a vast variety of choices, including fresh fruit, patisserie items, hot and cold food, and fresh juices. There was also sparkling wine offered.

Cons:

Tea/coffee facilities in the room were chargeable.

Pros:

Je bent gewoon verbluft als de zwarte poorten openzwaaien. Dit park met kasteeltje en manoir verwacht je niet in centrum Poperinge. Je wordt warm onthaald met een welkomstdrankje en alle info. De prachtige kamers spreken tot de verbeelding. De verschillende faciliteiten in de tuin met zwembad bieden een enorme meerwaarde. Zowel het ontbijt als het diner worden door de chef met zorg bereid. Dit was niet zomaar een verblijf in een hotel, dit was een echte belevenis. Hartelijk dank aan dit topteam!

Upscale hotel close to centre of Poperinge but in a very quiet location.
Pros:

Really smart upscale hotel, with friendly staff and good facilities. Excellent breakfast, small outdoor swimming pool and lots of outdoor seating.

Cons:

Restaurant was closed in the evening for a few days. Shame.

Perfect! Beautiful escape
Pros:

Everything! We were made to feel most welcome and at home. So much thought has gone into every detail. We felt so relaxed after a busy touring holiday in France, Germany and Belgium. We were in the pool and hot tub until late into the evening and relaxed in the garden room listening to music and enjoying a glass of wine. We felt at home. We will definitely book again

Cons:

tuyauterie d'eau chaude qui passe dans le sol de la chambre en faisait un SAUNA. Le ventilateur ne servait à rien avec un bruit de folie. Il faisait plus de 25 degrés dans la chambre. Cette chambre ne devait pas être louée dans ces périodes de chaleur. Aucune remise n'a été proposé par l'exploitant malgré le sujet qu'il connaissait parfaitement. et tout cela dans une literie peut agréable.
