Good location and clean rooms are slightly overshadowed by outside appearance and lack of upkeep.

The room was very clean.

Cons:

The outside of the property needs some work. The deck needs painting and the pavers on patio and around pool are getting overgrown with weeds.

We enjoyed the two nights we spent there and would go back again.
Pros:

The staff members with whom we interacted were welcoming and wonderful - everyone from the front desk to housekeeping. The location is central and within walking distance of both historic sites and good restaurants. It’s an older property and has a quaint appeal.

Cons:

It’s not that we didn’t like the age of the property or its “quaint appeal” - to the contrary, we found those factors to be positives - but guests should know they are booking the hotel equivalent of a craftsman home, not cookie-cutter contemporary-style lodging.

It's in a good location if you want to see downtown saint augustine

It was quite. Nothing to big as the size of the property which is good. Nobody bothered you.
