Vários perrengues com a estrutura porém a proprietária é excepcional e foi muito solicita, simpática e educada com a gente. Adoramos ela.
Great location
Nice place
Mooie rustige ligging. Vriendelijk personeel en uitstekende keuken
Heel prettig verblijven in rustige omgeving in vrije natuur. Goed restaurant en zeer vriendelijke mensen. Eigen vervoer noodzakelijk.
Zwembad!
Simple, basic and clean room.
Friendly staff. Great food at the restaurant.
Walking trail right there.
A very beautiful old house with a wonderful property. The room has A/C but no TV. It is a perfect way to disconnect. We recommend it anytime
It was okay but a little dated
Food and restaurant was great. Room was basic, but OK for the price. No breakfast available when I stayed.
Prima verblijf in heerlijk rustige ambiance. Basic hotelkamer, maar voldoet en was spic and span. Heel geschikt als je overdag toch veel weg bent en ‘s avonds en ‘s nachts tot rust wilt komen. Ontbijt is ook meer dan voldoende.
The experience I had was okay. Not bad not great. You stay in rooms away from the main restaurant. There is no TV and wifi isnt available unless your at the restaurant.
I had to kill 3 spiders and a roach in my room. Overall cleanliness was fine but the insects I was not fond of. Had to spray room with insect killer diligently.
As a solo traveller it will be fine but i will look else where if you were to bring a family or another loved one.
Landhuis Danial was as I expected from other reviewers feedback.
It is clean tidy and basic in terms of accommodation. The pool had not been cleaned but was being during my stay.
I have visited their restaurant several times and it is excellent! (Ut was busy on this visit and did not eat there on this stay!) The accommodation is obviously not their main business but it met my requirements.
Leuk, rustig, landelijk hotelletje.Redelijk dicht bij mooie stranden.
Hard bed and flat pillows, cracks in ceiling, cobwebs in shower. Not dirty but definitely tired.
We knew this place didn't have the best reviews. We understand that once we experienced the room ourselves. It was not really clean, there was a bad smell, the shower had hardly any water pressure and the shower door was half broken.
Though, it was just for a short night stay.
Besides all, we found the staff really friendly and the food from their restaurant was good & tasty! The pool was also convenient.
We stayed for a week in January, in the large half-timbered room in the website pictures. Never turned on the AC, as there is almost always a tradewind. When the wind stops, the windmills stop and there can be a brownout. Nothing fancy about this place, but we loved it. Flowers everywhere, a delightful staff, and Jan Francke painting his watercolors. We had the pool to ourselves, but come the evening, the locals poured in, as the restaurant is reputed to be the best on the island. After our first dinner we decided this was a rare treat and we ate there every night except one. Truly superb.
No electricity. It rained and the water came through the roof and the walls. Floor was flooded. Had to leave the hotel.
The actual room was nice enough. We got bugs by the second day. The area was very secluded/seemed abandoned, but that's my fault for not know the areas of the island better. The "check-in and out" was little more than tracking someone down on the property and them handing a key over They never asked my name. But overall all, it was problem free and fairly straightforward.
Hard to rate. Building is interesting and rooms are adequate, albeit a little shabby, but the overall ambiance is that of a real local experience, not a touristy hotel, which I enjoyed. This could be a truly great experience staying in a historic property with just a little effort and I urge the owners to do a bit more! Organic garden is great and restaurant was wonderful for both dinner and breakfast. Overall, a good value for our one night stay before spending a week at our timeshare in Curacao.
