I DIDN'T STAY!!! Had to make new arrangements on the spot on a Saturday during Spring Break. What a mess!!!

It's pool was out of order and no notices was posted. It was half full of green nasty water. The room was sooo musty that I started coughing shortly after walking in.

Everything, they gave a parking lot room, the pool was not open, the water that was in it was green,the beach access, not close to hotel btw, across the street was closed under construction, the room had no closet no dresser only two small desk chairs and two uncomfortable beds, the ac had to be in 68 to feel cool, rat trap boxes outside door, lots of room under door for rats to join us in middle of night , a little scary! The tub wouldn’t drain and it was filled with sandy water as I was trying to get water hot to shower. When we came back to room Friday after dinner 8:30-9, the police were in our parking lot for at least another hour right outside our room talking with the lady from office. On Saturday evening there was police present in lot by front office.

Pros:

It was a bed. There were plenty of places to eat within walking distance. Waffle house is just across the side street from the hotel. It is very close to the cruise piers and just straight up the street. There are shops for shopping and the beach is withn walking distance.

Cons:

The pool was not full so no swimming.
I booked the room online and received an email I had canceled it. I DIDN'T. Then I rebooked it and call the front desk to reconfirm the reservation. I was told that had a reservation. Arrival to the hotel I was told I canceled the reservation. I DID NOT. I had booked a handicap room and they didn't one available. I was given a first floor room (non handicap) with the A/C didn't work, and there was mold in the shower. There was n parking in front of the room and had to walk around the building to get to the room. My husband had to use his wheelchair to get to the room but could not roll into the room due to the door threshold. I was told to call the hotels costumer service to request a refund of the new higher cost for the room. I sat on hold for 1.5 hours only to be told to talk to the hotel manager. The next morning my husband and I went to check out and talked to the manager. I explained the issues and requested the refund. She called corporate to confirm I did call and then she offered a refund to match the lowest price I was reserved.

I like that it was near to everything you needed and was a decent price and the room is very clean
