I had to revisit the hotel reception 3 times to get my refund I was promised. Management issue

we checked out straight away as the room was damp, even the bedding and it smelt really musty

Was close to the beach and within walking distance to some attractions.

Cons:

The cleanliness and maintenance of facility was poor and they don't provide any toiletries besides a tiny bar of soap. They don't even have a drinking water fountain.

Staff was very nice and helpful, but the building itself is falling apart

Cons:

First room smelled so bad like marijuana it was overwhelming room was outdated dirty stains on carpets a absolute disgusting and that was first room was given a different room well I had to re hang the curtain as it was half off again room looked like it wasn't cleaned in months so I turned my keys in and wanted my money never said would suggest hiring cleaning staff ,oh and the pool was down as well and the cable didn't work in room so when I went back to let them know there was no one there and I noticed she was outside smoking stay anywhere else bar is so low here nothing could be worse

The location was the best thing about it.

Cons:

Everything about this place. The pool was just nasty. It is a dark green color. The light in the bathroom was not working and the lady said it was no one there to fix it. My husband and I walked to Waffle House and when we came back it was a guy sleeping in the lounge chair that looked homeless. I would've left if I could've got my money back. Luckily it was only 1 night. Honestly I would've preferred to sleep in my vehicle compared to wasting my money on that place. Its so rundown they should only be charging $40/night max.

After reading negative reviews I was surprised to see such a clean, almost sterile environment

No breakfast available. Room very clean. Bathroom clean but repairs to wall needed.

Cons:

Didn't like sheets covering blanket. Wondered if it was to hide cigarette burn holes.

Didn't like guests hanging out in parking lot smoking cigarettes.
