La ubicación

Beautiful old hotel with only 6 rooms, one of the nights it was just us, the staff welcome you and then let you have your stay in peace. It is an old building so it's a bit creaky but very charming and the historical area it is in is very very quiet at night, so even though the windows were old sash style it did not bother us at all. Except Festival de San Marcos night which was great fun to take part in. There's a lovely courtyard and area beyond it where you can sit and read. The breakfast, made mainly by Anna (the main staff member there in the mornings) was lovely and copious. A great start to the day for sight seeing.
The beds were really comfortable, I thought they looked hard but then realised they're memory foam so they were super comfortable.
We had one of the rooms without balcony, first floor, street side (room 5), but we did have a lovely second area with wardrobes before the bathroom that I think some of the others didn't. If needed there's a nice sitting room as well as the outside space. Depending on the Icod weather as it can be cloudy! We didn't use it though.
Although check in was before 8pm, if you arrive later there is a number to call on the door and a gentleman kindly came and let us in and we checked in formally the next day (due to flight times). We had called ahead to say we'd be late.
Icod is a great centre to base yourself in to then visit the surrounding area, Playa de la Cruz, Masca (our favourite), Garanchico or even go an hour to the more popular Costa Adeje for the day where it's warmer. We were happy we chose Icod and this hotel.

El lugar perfecto. La cama muy cómoda. Diferente a otros hoteles.

Le charme de l ancien et un petit déjeuner très copieux
Attention : demandez les chambres à l étage ou celle donnant sur le patio car celle au rez de chaussée donnant sur la rue est bruyante (il n y a pas pas de fenêtre,juste des volets très anciens !)
Les draps et la chambre sont faits tous les jours

L'emplacement au centre de la vieille ville, l'excellent petit déjeuner et la qualité.du service

Effectivement la chambre est d'époque, style coloniale ,plafond en poutres de bois, la salle de bain avec sa douche à l'ancienne

Fruits, vin, cava et eau à disposition à l'arrivée
Le petit déjeuner est bon et copieux
Le patio et le jardin sont agréables

It was a great location, very close to the centre of Icod, the museums and a few bars/restaurants. Parking in the locality was never a problem either.
The hotel is perfectly comfortable but not amazing.

Die Lage nahe der Altstadt und den Sehenswürdigkeiten ist prima. Auch gibt es im Ort einen Busbahnhof, von dem man gut und günstig in alle Richtungen fahren kann. Das alte Haus hat viel Charme und das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.gute Lage für Naturliebhaber

Hotel installé dans une maison canarienne d'époque avec de magnifiques boiseries, un patio superbe, des pièces aménagées à l'ancienne avec un décor 1850/1900 . A deux pas de la partie historique de la ville et du parc au dragonnier millénaire. Magnifique suite avec grande chambre, bureau et salle de bains . Très bon confort . Bon petit déjeuner

Spansk stil. Låg centralt med närhet till restauranger, affärer och fjärilshus.
Fin balkong med underbar utsikt.
Frukosten var så trevlig, lagom. Mycket trevlig frukostvärdinna!
Sängen var skön.

El hotel es muy curioso. Una antigua casa Canaria transformada en hotel. Tiene pocas habitaciones, está bien decorado, con muchos detalles, mucha madera, un pequeño jardín interior muy bonito. La zona de desayuno es muy pequeña, pero acogedora. La persona que nos atendió fue muy amable y atenta.
