The reception area was clean and welcoming. Balise beds on upper terrace were not chargeable
The room was clean and modern.
The fridge /mini bar worked well.
The kettle was included in room fee.

Cons:

Whilst described as Family Hotel , it was extremely kid centric with a lot of night-time entertainment provision for them but NONE /very very little and poor quality for adults without children.

Personally I found I was very limited to hotels I could stay at as a solo traveller otherwise I would have booked an Adults only hotel. My children are older now so I have ‘grown’ past wanting children still in nappies in the large swimming pool when they have a huge area with two pools specially designed for both children and their parents however a lot of very young children were occupying sunbeds and the main terrace area suitable for other adults.
If hotels can ‘get away’ with charging premiums for sole occupancy , which is discriminatory really , why can’t they star on their website this hotel is really not suitable for solo adults and adults without children?

The standard and quality of the food and generally service in the restaurant was very poor. Although the restaurant was open from 6.30-8.30pm the staff were clearing up from 7.45pm and it was difficult to attract attraction from the staff to set a table with cutlery beyond 7.45pm.
Even in the morning if you asked a member of staff for something eg tomato juice when it wasn’t out , you were told to find a member of kitchen staff , how do I know who works for each area of the kitchen and should that be my duty whilst on holiday having paid a high price to stay there just because I was on my own ?

Pros:

Location, breakfast, kids content (play room, water slide)

Cons:

Forget about relaxing sleep at nigt. There are multiple night clubs near hotel playing loud music untill 1am every day. Our room was on 8th floor, still noise was unbearable for me.

Pros:

Sve je bilo savršeno, čistoća, puno sadržaja za svakoga, puno raznovrsne i ukusne hrane i pića, a najveći adut su ljudi, od prvog do zadnjeg zaposlenika. Posebno konobarica Vladanka iz BG 👍🫶

Das Gebäude ist sehr in die Jahre gekommen, so wie das Zimmer in dem wir waren. Für uns ist es definitiv kein 4* Hotel.

Wunderbarer Aufenthalt, dank des Hotels und auch dank des schönen Makarska's
Pros:

Hatten Zimmer mit Meerblick, sehr große Terrasse und traumhafter Ausblick. Die Lage hervorragend, direkt am Strand, bnur durch schöne Promenade (KEIN Autoverkehr),reine 'Flaniermeile', inmittenn unzähliger Lokale, nahezu alle mit Außenbereich direkt am Strand. Was man so beim spazierengehen sah, allesamt großartiges Essen. In den Restaurants, die wir besucht hatten immer tolles Essen bekommenn und vor allem total freundliche, entspannte Kellner(innen). Strand vor dem Hotel top, konnte sogar ohne Badeschuhe problemlos am Strand und ins Meer gehen, wenn man welche hat, dennoch kein Nachteil. Frühstück im Hotel Hammer, es gab dort alles, was man sich von einem Frühstücksbuffet erwarten kann, sehr sauberes und stimmiges 'Restaurant', trotz der großen Tischanzahl keine Halle, sondern schon eingeteilt. Auch hier top Service der Mitarbeiter(innen). Sehr kinderfreundliches Hotel, mit Pool für die allerkleinsten und für die schon etwas größeren, dennoch kein wirklicher 'Kinderlärm' am Pool! Pool TOP, sehr langes, dafür 'etwas schmäleres' Becken, wer wirklich schwimmen will, kann das hier machen. Toller Ausblick vom Pool auch auf Strand und Meer - fast kitschig. Poolbar, sehr freundlich und für eine Poolbar auch sehr feine Snacks/Essen. In Summe ein mehr als gelungener Aufenthalt. Waren nur ein Wochenende da (viel zu kurz!!), planen aber, da es uns so gut gefallen hat, kommendes Jahr wieder zu kommen, diesmal eine Woche, weil es auch spannende Ausflugsmöglichkeiten in Makarska gibt.

Uvijek se rado vracamo.
Pros:

Uvijek se rado vracam u ovaj hotel kao i sve druge Valamarove hotele.Vrlo je uredno, osoblje je izuzetno ljubazno.Hrana je ukusna.Djeca uzivaju kao i mi.☺️
