Welcome to Bretagne!
Pros:

Outstanding historical hotel in the best spot of intra muros Saint Malo. It has been smartly renewed so everything is fresh and contemporary, still remaining classic and perfectly matched with the beautiful building. The room was lovely, with a beautiful view. The cafè/bistro/restaurant open to the square has a beautiful atmosphere and very good food and service.

Pros:

Чудове місце розташування. Чудовий ремонт у ванній кімнаті.

Cons:

Ніякої організації сніданку. Необхідно чекати «дефіцитну» тарілку. Мене покусали якісь комахи в номері! Без берушей неможливо спати. На ранок виїзду просили менеджера на рецепшн викликати таксі, як же були здивовані, коли і таксі не приїхало і на рецепшн нікого не було!

Perfekte Location, um Saint Malo und Umgebung zu erkunden!
Pros:

Super zentrale Lage in Saint Malo - intra muros - und fußläufig nur ein paar Meter von Parkplätzen und Parkgarage entfernt - perfekt, um die Gegend zu erkunden und Ausflüge nach Dinard, Dinan, Cancale und Mont Saint Michel zu machen!

Cons:

Alles gut ... :-)!

Pros:

Un hotel con historia, precioso por dentro pero el baño de la habitación era muy pequeño y en bastante mal estado. El colchón malísimo, la habitación minúscula. Pero lo peor ha sido llegar desde el parking con las maletas... Las calles del casco antiguo están adoquinadas por lo cual ha sido un verdadero suplicio llegar con el equipaje hasta el hotel.

Deberían cuidar más la limpieza del baño (el 1 día faltaba el gel de ducha) y en general renovarlo por dentro. Una pena que no se mantenga en buen estado un hotel con tanta historia... Le doy un 6.

Cons:

El tamaño de la habitación, el baño en mal estado, el parking lejos del hotel, mal estado de las instalaciones.

Tolle Lage, tolles Gebäude, viel Charme. Restaurants waren gut

Cons:

Der Service in den Restaurants war nicht gut. Beim Frühstück morgens immer ein Chaos und Abends waren die Kellner sehr müde und vergesslich (verständlich nach einer langen Saison!)

Great location in the old town. A grand hotel but could do with some tlc. Panoramic restaurant is outstanding, we had the tasting menu for the 2nd year running.

Cons:

A small improvement would be getting the car park entry email earlier in the day of booking.

Vraiment parfait
Pros:

Superbe hôtel intra-muros avec vue sur les remparts. Idéal pour visiter la cité et être dans l’ambiance. Tres belle décoration,chambres spacieuses. La nôtre offrait une vue au dessus des remparts, avec le levé de soleil en prime. Le petit déjeuner est copieux, fait de produits maison. Nous n’avons pas dîner dans le restaurant mais la carte est alléchante. Le personnel est sympa et professionnel. Nous avons pu stocker nos vélos dans un local proche.

Great location for party-goers, not great if you value your sleep.
Pros:

The location was great, very central, near the main restaurant area and next to the town walls and coast. The hotel is a historic building. The breakfast is fine, the usual buffet. Great shower pressure!

Cons:

The hotel doesn't have air con, which is fine if you can open the windows. But being so central, and right next to (and above) the busy bars and restaurants, you can't sleep with the windows open because of the party-goers outside. However you can't sleep with the windows closed as it's so hot. A catch 22! When we did finally get to sleep, we were woken early with street cleaners, bin lorries etc. The lift was old and smelly. The room was very dated (circa 1980 I would guess) and quite small. All in all a bit disappointing for our last night on holiday. It felt like a lot of money for very little sleep.

A lively and elegant hotel with friendly and helpful staff.
Pros:

We had a delightful view of the sea, the city walls, and a fort beyond.

Cons:

There was a lovely bath but no stand-up shower. This was difficult for my husband to use, but they brought us a mat and a stool which helped a lot.
