Cute, simple clean rooms, friendly customer service, one block away from the beach! Good quality bedding, the penthouse has a private terrace! You can walk to everything from this location. There's no elevator so it might be an issue if you can't handle a couple of stairs.

The property location had clean rooms.
During our recent stay, we encountered several issues at check-in. Upon our arrival, we discovered that our reserved rooms were unavailable due to reported problems with the accommodations. As a result, we were assigned to two different rooms and ended up paying more than we had anticipated.
Additionally, we found that on-site parking was not provided. Guests are required to park at a nearby Walmart or use a paid parking facility, which is inconveniently located. At the end of our stay, the manager charged us a higher rate for both the rooms and the parking. Overall, these factors significantly impacted our experience. Furthermore, the property was noisy, with music playing until 3 AM.
This experience was a nightmare, and the staff did not send an email in advance to notify us that the room we had reserved was no longer available. We only found out about this upon check-in, which was very upsetting. The manager/owner seemed uninterested in resolving our issues. I would not stay here again.
We chose to leave early due to multiple serious issues:
• The shower had extremely low pressure and no hot water, making it unusable for my daughter.
• The electricity was out for over three hours on the first day, though we were told it would only be one hour.
• Parking, which was advertised as available, was not only off-site but also came with an unexpected charge and was 10 minutes away—highly inconvenient.
When I expressed concern about the shower, I was told by the hotel staff that the pressure and temperature were “normal in Mexico”—a clearly dismissive and inaccurate response.
After we left they made the false and unacceptable claim that we caused damage to the property during our recent stay. This accusation is entirely untrue.
Hotel Delfin was a great, safe place to get some rest while not out enjoying Playa Del Carmen. Great location at a great price. Two minute walk to the beach and right on 5th Ave in the middle of everything. Ten minute walk to Walmart. Bed was comfortable, air conditioning worked very well, plumbing was good, nice size very cold mini fridge in room. There was a tv as well but didn’t use it. Internet was solid. Room was cleaned daily and all the staff very friendly and accommodating. I stayed on the top level where the rooms have a nice roof deck overlooking 5th Ave. Would absolutely stay again.
Some things that might be deal breakers for people. There is loud club music until 2ish in the morning. I was always tired enough to sleep through it without ear plugs. With ear plugs you would probably still hear it, noise canceling ear buds would drown it out. You can’t stay this close to 5th with out hearing thumping music at night so if that would be an issue this place is not for you. Be aware no elevator if you can’t handle stairs.
the location was fabulous. the receptionists Cinthia and Marysol were extremely nice and accommodating. the bed was comfortable and the room was always clean. the balcony/rooftop was pretty great as well.

This hotel is very centrally located along the main venue in playa . The staff is super friendly and professional. The rooms are super clean and comfortable.
The curtains in the windows are white and allow day light to get through. In case you like to sleep late .
Location to beaches/shops/both ADO stations.
Room size, fridge coffee machine with coffee. Free drinking water. Gorgeous building..outside plus tiling inside.

The location was very noisy at night. We were aware so it wasn't a problem but despite being heavy sleepers we didn't manage to sleep through completely. However we were offered a move to a quieter room forv2nd night. which we turned down as were only there2 nights. It wasn't s biggie for us but if you sleep light, then be aware music ends at 3.30am.
The location is good, next to Quinta and ADO station. The problem is the noise from all the bars is bad
The TV had troubles working, the drinking water wasn't more easily available, and it's noisy late into the night
It is a beautiful property, although it has a lot of small issues - particularly with our balcony room. Handle for closet came off, door to patio came off, no refrigerator when arrive, no TV in our room. We could have known more of the language ourselves, but front desk / reception did not speak any english :(
It was clean, the staff is great. Great location ! Close to the beach and the main strip!
Not to be facing the main strip if you don’t want to hear the music at night on weekends
