Dirty when we arrived. Definitely some big roaches. I was there for 2 weeks, housekeeping didn’t stop by at all, not even once. Went to reception to ask about this a few days in, they were meant to come the next day: still never did. Had to keep going and asking by for toilet tissue and clean towels at the front desk. Door key kept deactivating. I arranged to extend my stay for one night via the app but the hotel never answered the phone to confirm so I went to reception to ask them to accept the email request. That’s it. They didn’t know how to do that. So I had to book an entirely separate stay for one night.
Also the email address that they spam in the comments? Yeah it doesn’t exist. I also emailed their main email before my stay as I was getting no response, never had an email and that’s 3 weeks ago now.
The hotel itself isn’t too bad, it’s what you expect for the price, but the staff literally may as well not be there.
The first 2 days I had no air. So on the 3rd day they switched me rooms before my check out day I had extended my stay by reserving it another 5 days well at the time of check out they wouldn't allow my brother to check in because I was not there mind you he had been there all week long without me being present also the girl at the front desk stayted she could not find his reservation would allow him to check in with my confirmation number I had to drive an hour away to go there and show my id after 3hrs of waiting outside. So I get there show my id go to the room just to get a knock on the door a few mins later from the girl at the front desk telling me the room is not paid for and was told by her manager if I didn't pay for it the were going to contact pd. I stated I gave to a confirmation number because it was provided to me when I booked the reservation yesterday. So I called booking.com to try and straighten things out seems when my brother went to check in they tried to charge him for one night of $66 so I explained well thats where you people messed up why would you charge him for one night when he has a reservation for a week and if you charged him you still didn't even let him in a room he waited outside for 3hrs until I had to get out of work drive an hr just to show my id when he's been there all week long needless to stay she had ran a partial payment then tried to run it again for the full amount so I said its an easy fix you took a partial payment run the balance owed.
To be threatened to have the police called when my part was paid in full for a mistake the front desk girl made is a problem to me didn't apologize not once or even try to make it right if they know he's going to be there for a full week perhaps a fridge or microwave would be useful or try to compensate for the 2 days with no air. But try to make things right.
I liked the location of the property and quick and simple the check in process was. The area is very quiet and close to everything. Staff was helpful whenever I needed assistance. Property was very clean.
It would’ve been neat if there was a mini fridge in the room. Another thing that I found a bit annoying was that the room key card would constantly deactivate and I would have to go up to the front desk for them to give me a new one. It was a constant going back and forth just trying to get into my room and was quite the inconvenience. This happened every night for the 4 days I booked the hotel room. The staff was very helpful and kind during these situations.
There were bed bugs the ac did not work with a heat warning. The person that I was talking to in the office was on the TV screen and kept giving us the round around said she was going to move us to a different room but then said she talked with her supervisor and said why was she moving us to a 1 bedroom when we had 2 beds and said to give them a little bit that they had someone assigned to clean one of the rooms with 2 beds and that it wouldn't be to long. So instead of them putting us in another room they left us in the same room and expected us to pay for another night for more money. We did not get no sleep because when we finally got to lay down we started getting attacked by bugs. The ac would not blow out any cold air at all. The room was disgusting there was dead bugs on the floor. 🤬😡🤬😡😡🤬🤬😡😡
Easy location. It was clean except the sink had toothpaste and beard hair...wasn't cleaned. Nice pool area.
Hated the kiosk check in. Hard to understand and the closed caption was way off. I wasn't put on the bottom level, as requested weeks prior. Coffee wasn't available consistent hours in the morning. No big complaints at all.
The front desk was remote, ie. you converse with a real person via screen. A bit strange but it worked well. I could change the room with an on-site manager which also helped with the WIFI as it had some security issues. Room was decently sized, plenty of parking. The motel offers decent value for money if you are not too picky.
There is not much to do in the area and the pool is more for show than for usage.
