Pleased with the handicap access room at no extra cost $ 76 a night during the week great value!

I loved the handicap room on the 1st floor near the front of the Motel 6 on South Garey Ave in Pomona. I have limited mobility and I am disabled. I had a comfortable night sleep in their queen sized bed that was spacious enough for both me and my partner, to have enough room to sleep well. The spacious bathroom was well equipped with grab bars installed near the toilet and to get in and out of the shower 🚿 without slipping and falling as you exited the shower and large bathtub there were grab bars to hold on to . Also a smaller seating area at the end of the tub to wash the lower parts of your body without having to stand up for a long period of time or to get into the tub for a bath without having to squat down in order to sit in the tub to soak in the tub, Great bathing options for larger disabled adults to fit comfortably. I was very happy with the price as well for one night during the week $75 for the room.

Cons:

No microwave to warm food that's already made. No small sized refrigerator for drinks or perishable foods.

Ghetto location and bad nasty motel.

I've stayed at multiple Motel 6 locations before but this one was just terrible. The pictures have to be stolen from a good location because the actual location does not look like this. I also selected a non smoking room and it wreaked like cigarette smoke and there were just ants coming from anywhere. I get that it's hot but i've never stayed at a motel 6 like this one before and I hate to sound like a "karen" but honestly, it was terrible.
