The property will undergo a rejuvenation of the guestrooms and public space from March 1 - May 31, 2024. There will be minimal impact to guests. Work will occur weekdays, during daytime business hours.

Staff was WONDERFUL! Attentive and friendly. Offered water upon arrival and departure. Never made you feel rushed or like you were inconveniencing them with questions.
Room was spacious and clean. The bed and pillows were so comfortable. Great water pressure in the shower.
If we were ever in town again we would definitely stay at this location!
The only thing we didn’t like was that you had to get ice from the freezer in sandwich bags. They were frozen solid so you had to take them outside and hit them on the cement to get them to break smaller. I would assume this would be more inconvenient in the winter. Why not just have an ice machine?!
Residence Inn by Marriott is perfectly situated for our visits to Chicago to see our grandchildren. The suites are like home since they include a full kitchen and the beds are always comfortable ensuring a great nights sleep. Finally, EVERY time we visit the staff is incredible. Always friendly, helpful and just overall excellent.
Everything was wonderful
The location for the included breakfast was convenient, the decor was fine and the choice of seating was exceptional as the breakfast room was linked with the reception area. I was able to sit and looked out the window while eating my breakfast. Coffee was available beyond the breakfast opening times. Food choices were exceptional, inclusive of all dietary preferences as far as I could see. I also liked the fact that I could choose to use the stairs to go down to the lobby or up to my room. Lastly, I arrived early, 11:30 in the morning, and was able to check into my room. This was a very pleasant surprise.
What didn't I like .... I can think of nothing.

You need a nightlight in the bathroom
Great room. Clean, spacious and quiet. Nice, big shower. Surprisingly quiet for how close it was to the highway. Morning clerk so sweet and housekeeping and most workers very nice and helpful.
We had one evening clerk who was just rude. I asked if there was a medium roast coffee and she was very put out by my question . This was the only rude person we had bad interactions with.
The rooms were clean, comfortable, and spacious! Plenty of breakfast options as well.
Have stayed at Residence Inn by Marriott Skokie several times and love the facility and staff. The rooms are large with the kitchen with a full size fridge making it a step above others close to it. The breakfast is always good with variety from one day to the next making it more than a standard hotel breakfast. And we love the people who are incredibly friendly and helpful. We will stay here again on our next visit to Chicago.
