I enjoyed an absolutely wonderful stay earlier this month. It was a work-cation, as I was able to combine work with an anniversary celebration. From check-in, to check-out, the stay was flawless. The front desk agent who checked my in went above and beyond to ensure that I was happy with my room. I was proactively offered a room upgrade as a globalist benefit, then given the option for a further (paid) upgrade to an incredible 1-bedroom suite overlooking Carnegie Hall.
For me, clean and quiet are always the top considerations of any stay. This certainly checked both of those boxes, and this was true even being on the 57th Street side of the hotel. I found the technology in the room worked very well, all of the electronically controlled window curtains were great, the heated bathroom floor (especially with cold weather), and what a wonderful bidet.
Housekeeping would always promptly service the room as soon as turned off the privacy light, and it was ready for us upon return. Evening turn-down service was done consistently, even placing slippers out each time.
The globalist breakfast benefit was absolutely spectacular. First off, the food variety and quality is among the best of any Hyatt I've stayed. Beyond that, the hotel did not nickel and dime on what is included. At many hotels, there's an extra charge for a latter rather than a drip coffee. Here, I felt my loyalty was truly appreciated as all breakfast charges were waived.
I also feel like I must mention the top-notch gym and pool area, which I used both of. The gym was well equipped, with just about every piece of equipment, as well as chilled towels and plenty of water. Then, that indoor pool on the 25th floor, wow, just see the photos!
Finally, I was there with my wife as we were celebrating our anniversary. That was recognized with complimentary chocolate covered strawberries.
We cannot wait to return!
Another amazing stay at the Park Hyatt. Great for shows or events in Midtown. Expensive but worth it! Gym has best view in NYC! Best breakfast!
Incredibly clean and well located hotel. Impeccable service across the board. Will make this my go-to hotel in New York from now on.
The room was spacious and very clean, the service was very quick and friendly. The location is stellar, and would come back.
What an amazing experience. The location was convenient, the room was gorgeous, the food was awesome, the view was great, the staff were amazing, cant wait to come back again!
The Park Hyatt is a Gem in New York City. The location is walking distance from the train station, high end shopping stores, St Patrick Cathedral and Carnegie Hall right across the street. The service at this hotel is outstanding and the rooms are all beautiful. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone’s stay.
As a frequent Globalist guest at Park Hyatt properties worldwide, my recent stay at the Park Hyatt New York was a significant departure from the brand's luxury standards.
Upon arrival, I was "upgraded" to Room 1104, marketed as a "Studio Suite." In reality, this was a standard room on a low floor with significant construction noise—a clear case of mislabeling to bypass legitimate Globalist suite benefits.

After a frustrating effort to change rooms, I was moved to Room 2015 (a "Park Suite"). This room lacks any actual park view, instead offering a direct look into neighboring office windows with zero privacy. More critically, the living area had a major HVAC failure, stuck in heating mode at a constant 78°F, making the space uninhabitable.
Despite these issues, management and my Hyatt concierge remained dismissive, offering no formal apology or service recovery. Between the mediocre, overcrowded breakfast and the deceptive room categorization, this property is not currently delivering a five-star experience. For the $1,200/night price point, I recommend looking at other luxury options in the city that value elite loyalty.
Hotel conveniently located in midtown. From the moment we arrived, service was spectacular. The room was surprisingly large for a NYC hotel with all the amenities needed. The bellman, front desk and house keeping staff could not have been nicer or more accommodating. Love this property and look forward to returning and staying more than one night!
This was our first visit to the Park Hyatt NY and we did not want to leave! The location was perfect for our visit and had plenty of nearby restaurants and cocktail lounges nearby to explore. Perfectly situated for visits to The MoMA and Carnegie Hall. The service at the PHNY exceeded our expectations and made our stay truly special. WOH status was well recognized and we were able to check in early as well as check out late. We used a suite upgrade award to secure the King Suite and enjoyed complimentary Globalist in room dining for breakfast each morning. The turndown service recognized my birthday with a small treat and the daily housekeeping was impeccable.
An amazing hotel with impeccable cleanliness and friendly staff. Perfectly located to walk everywhere. Would 100% stay here again.
We recently stayed at the Park Hyatt New York, and our experience was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make our trip memorable and relaxing.
The check-in process was incredibly smooth and welcoming—a huge thank you to Lilia and William for setting the perfect tone for our stay right away. The exceptional service continued throughout our time there. Tony and Josh were fantastic, prompt, and so helpful with our luggage and room service requests.
The attention to detail, the beautiful property, and the genuine hospitality of the entire team truly stand out. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the city, and we are already looking forward to our next stay!
Perfect location and environment for a fancy adult ladies sleepover. Perfect place to combine shopping, dining, relaxing, reconnecting, and self-care. Can't wait to have another girly sleepover and this time with the mini-me's in tow.
This was our first time staying at Park Hyatt. From the moment we arrived we were greeted with joyous welcomes. Check in was a breeze (thank you Lilia). Our room was clean and very quiet. I called Housekeeping to change my pillows out and within minutes our new pillows arrived. The hostess (Marilin) at The Living Room welcomed us in each morning with a huge smile, and our waitstaff remembered our coffee order! We felt like family.
My husband abd I like this hotel for the location - a cross from the Carnegie Hall, the bed was comfortable, easy to operate the light switches and thermostat, plenty of bottled water, liked a litte bench in the shower and hand-held shower head, room was spotless, no offense smells like in Mandarin oriental. On our previous stay we had a studio with a couch that was a little dated. This time our room was great.
Many thanks to Mr. Orozco for passing a word to housekeeping to replace the duvet with a thin blanket -we had a good night sleep.
Service was phenomenal. Room was huge. Shower was amazing. The pool was so luxurious. My friend said this was 20th visit to NYC and it was by far the best!! The location was absolutely perfect. We can't wait to return.
My child was on winter break, and because of work, I couldn't go on our usual Cancun trip, so we opted for a New York staycation at the Park Hyatt New York (PHNY).
We arrived late in the evening and were given our room keys promptly. While the room was showing its age, it was very well-maintained. The bathroom is excellent for a New York winter, especially with the heated floors! My only complaint was the loud street noise, but that is hard to avoid in Manhattan anyway.
We met Kamil in the dining room, who remembered us from our previous visit. As always, he was so courteous and a pleasure to talk with. My child and husband used the sauna and the saltwater swimming pool (no chlorine smell!), which they enjoyed a lot. Overall, it was a great stay. I would go back anytime I’m in need of a staycation—not many hotels in the city have a pool this nice.
The Park Hyatt in New York was great. Excellent location, wonderful staff and overall a very good experience. High recommended!
I compare this trip to similar one-week stays at the Peninsula and the Baccarat.
We stayed in a deluxe king city view, with great views of Central Park and Upper East Side.
I prefer the Park Hyatt to the Peninsula or the Baccarat.
The Park Hyatt has a great location, next of Central Park and easy walk to the Met Opera or Broadway.
The pool/steam room area is great. I like steam rooms, and this is the best in the city.
Rooms are large, with heated bathroom floors and great shower. Openable windows for people who want fresh air ( or NYC air).
Rooms and the hotel are not as luxurious as the Peninsula, but are bigger. The decor in the Park Hyatt room is a cross between a 4 star bathroom and 3 star sleeping area - poor, cheap decor - bad rug, wasted space, cheap. Still, it was comfortable.
Overall, for the same price, I would pick the Park Hyatt - great view, location, amenities and service.
Had a wonderful stay for my birthday weekend. Upgraded room and cake and champagne were delivered as a wonderful surprise. Hotel has a great location and the pool is wonderful.
A wonderful experience from check in to check out. Fantastic, kind staff and amazing room. Highly recommend for families.
