We recently stayed at the Park Hyatt New York, and our experience was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make our trip memorable and relaxing.
The check-in process was incredibly smooth and welcoming—a huge thank you to Lilia and William for setting the perfect tone for our stay right away. The exceptional service continued throughout our time there. Tony and Josh were fantastic, prompt, and so helpful with our luggage and room service requests.
The attention to detail, the beautiful property, and the genuine hospitality of the entire team truly stand out. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the city, and we are already looking forward to our next stay!
Perfect location and environment for a fancy adult ladies sleepover. Perfect place to combine shopping, dining, relaxing, reconnecting, and self-care. Can't wait to have another girly sleepover and this time with the mini-me's in tow.
This was our first time staying at Park Hyatt. From the moment we arrived we were greeted with joyous welcomes. Check in was a breeze (thank you Lilia). Our room was clean and very quiet. I called Housekeeping to change my pillows out and within minutes our new pillows arrived. The hostess (Marilin) at The Living Room welcomed us in each morning with a huge smile, and our waitstaff remembered our coffee order! We felt like family.
My husband abd I like this hotel for the location - a cross from the Carnegie Hall, the bed was comfortable, easy to operate the light switches and thermostat, plenty of bottled water, liked a litte bench in the shower and hand-held shower head, room was spotless, no offense smells like in Mandarin oriental. On our previous stay we had a studio with a couch that was a little dated. This time our room was great.
Many thanks to Mr. Orozco for passing a word to housekeeping to replace the duvet with a thin blanket -we had a good night sleep.
Service was phenomenal. Room was huge. Shower was amazing. The pool was so luxurious. My friend said this was 20th visit to NYC and it was by far the best!! The location was absolutely perfect. We can't wait to return.
My child was on winter break, and because of work, I couldn't go on our usual Cancun trip, so we opted for a New York staycation at the Park Hyatt New York (PHNY).
We arrived late in the evening and were given our room keys promptly. While the room was showing its age, it was very well-maintained. The bathroom is excellent for a New York winter, especially with the heated floors! My only complaint was the loud street noise, but that is hard to avoid in Manhattan anyway.
We met Kamil in the dining room, who remembered us from our previous visit. As always, he was so courteous and a pleasure to talk with. My child and husband used the sauna and the saltwater swimming pool (no chlorine smell!), which they enjoyed a lot. Overall, it was a great stay. I would go back anytime I’m in need of a staycation—not many hotels in the city have a pool this nice.
The Park Hyatt in New York was great. Excellent location, wonderful staff and overall a very good experience. High recommended!
I compare this trip to similar one-week stays at the Peninsula and the Baccarat.
We stayed in a deluxe king city view, with great views of Central Park and Upper East Side.
I prefer the Park Hyatt to the Peninsula or the Baccarat.
The Park Hyatt has a great location, next of Central Park and easy walk to the Met Opera or Broadway.
The pool/steam room area is great. I like steam rooms, and this is the best in the city.
Rooms are large, with heated bathroom floors and great shower. Openable windows for people who want fresh air ( or NYC air).
Rooms and the hotel are not as luxurious as the Peninsula, but are bigger. The decor in the Park Hyatt room is a cross between a 4 star bathroom and 3 star sleeping area - poor, cheap decor - bad rug, wasted space, cheap. Still, it was comfortable.
Overall, for the same price, I would pick the Park Hyatt - great view, location, amenities and service.
Had a wonderful stay for my birthday weekend. Upgraded room and cake and champagne were delivered as a wonderful surprise. Hotel has a great location and the pool is wonderful.
A wonderful experience from check in to check out. Fantastic, kind staff and amazing room. Highly recommend for families.
Great stay with our family - which included two small children. The staff were exceptional - so friendly towards my children and accommodating - they even gave them some stuffed animals!
The food at breakfast was excellent in the restaurant.
The rooms and interior of the hotel are chic, modern with clean lines. Our room though did have some noticeable staining on the floor, some hair in the shower when we arrived and an elective window shade that was broken.
Otherwise- everything was perfect and the room service was also exceptional.
I would stay again.
I went for a quick girls trip and the staff at the Park Hyatt New York truly delivered. Every staff member goes above and beyond. They are kind, friendly and get a 10/10 for hospitality. The service is impeccable. The facilities are gorgeous. Arantza made sure we had special treats in our room to kick off our stay. Even after a little hiccup with a late check in, they made it right with a food credit so we could lounge at the bar while we waited. It was truly lovely and made for a perfect NYC getaway
This is an excellent choice if you appreciate refined luxury in the heart of Billionaires’ Row. The hotel was clearly built without compromise, yet everything is presented with restraint and elegance. It is impeccably maintained and feels as pristine as the day it opened.
The staff carry themselves with quiet professionalism and genuine pride, delivering polished and attentive service without being intrusive. I would very much look forward to returning on my next visit to New York.
We stayed at Park Hyatt New York for Valentine’s Day weekend, and we can’t say enough good things about the staff at the hotel. We particularly want to highlight two interactions that really elevated our experience: 1. Lily at the front desk patiently accommodated our request for a room change. She even stayed with us past her work hours to make sure that the change went through. 2. Ashley who was on lifeguard duty at the pool on 2/17 went above and beyond to make sure our time there was enjoyable. She consistently checked on us and offered chilled water and swimming gears. It was our first time staying at a Park Hyatt, and this experience definitely made us want to return next time we are in New York!
A great hotel conveniently located near Central Park, shopping destinations and Carnegie Hall! Clean rooms and very friendly employees.
The Park Hyatt in New York is a gorgeous hotel in a great location, close to Central Park, Fifth Avenue shopping, Carnegie Hall, and the Lincoln Center. There are subway stations close by to get to other locations in Manhattan fairly quickly.
Room: I was upgraded to a King Deluxe Room, with obstructed views of Central Park. The room exuded luxurious, quiet elegance, as is common with most Park Hyatt locations.
Bathroom: The bathroom is stunning, with views over Central Park. Taking a bath overlooking the park sounded tempting, but with floor to ceiling windows, would probably not have been a good decision!
Restaurant: The Living Room is the Park Hyatt's on-site restaurant; located on the lobby level, with views out to Carnegie Hall & the Russian Tea Room on 57th Street. The restaurant is elegant, with comfortable seating, and a fairly comprehensive menu. The free breakfast for Hyatt Globalists was one of the best benefits for staying here.
Pool: The pool, located on the 25th floor might be one of the best features of the hotel. I think if it overlooked Central Park I might never have left. Sadly, it overlooks 57th Street, which, while interesting, isn't as tranquil as a view of Central Park.
Final thoughts: The hotel is beautiful, but if I was paying $$ for a stay, I'd look at cheaper options. I utilized World of Hyatt Points (40k points a night).

Amazing stay with my daughter for her birthday! The king studio suite was so spacious and made us not want to leave the room - which was ok since it was a frigid weekend in NYC! Front desk staff are quite formal, which is not my style, but the doorman and room service staff were very welcoming and friendly! The pool area is a highlight for us, especially in the winter! Room service breakfast made us feel like royalty:)
Of all the hotel breakfasts I've had worldwide, this one is by far the best.
Breakfast isn't buffet-style but a la carte. I tried almost everything and it was absolutely delicious.
The location is perfect for accessing Fifth Avenue and Times Square.
The suites are absurdly expensive but considering the location it's understandable.
Always a consistent winner in our book. Great location, amenities and a top notch staff. A special shout out to Alyssa for making this visit extra special
Best hotel in NYC. Staff was excellent. Room was perfect. Food was great. Had an excellent stay and I will stay there anytime I'm in NYC.
