OYO 288 The Minotel Hotel

PLEASE DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL. When I reached there, the lady said we don't work with OYO anymore (Still they have a signboard of OYO there) and we don't have your booking confirmed. Moreover, we are full and cannot assign a room.
I have asked EXPEDIA to refund my money back. Hope for best. There were 3 more guys there with same issue.

The actual hotel and location is nice but completely incompetent staff. Said credit card payment is fine but upon arrival they said I couldn't pay with a credit card. Then I tried to book additional days and after paying and receiving a guaranteed confirmation they said they were full and I had to cancel and I was still charged for an unusable night. Many other people in the lobby were having the same problems. Then when calling to get a refund they never answer, still waiting for a refund.

Booked 5 rooms through Expedia group bookings because this place has a 24 hour check in and we were arriving late at night. Arrived at the hotel and was told they were full, and our accomodations would be at a different hotel in the Oyo chain. Which wasn't at the beach, and much further away than where we wanted to be. This was inconvenient. Also, cockroaches were running all over the floor in the lobby bathroom.

Bokade online via Hotels. När vi kom dit så kunde ägaren se våran bokning, vi blev ombädda att sitta om vänta. Efter vi väntat 4 timmar och frågat ett flertal gånger när vi skulle få nyckel och vårat rum. Då fick vi reda på att hotellet inte hade reserverat något rum till oss och att det inte fanns något ledigt rum kvar och ägaren påstod att de slutat med onlinebokning och att det var hotels fel. Vi fick tillslut ett rum på ett annat hotell inom samma hotellkedja, men det hotellet låg mycket längre från stranden och vi fick släpa våra resväskor och gå dit själva utan nån kompensation från ägaren. Ägaren kunde väldigt lite engelska och det var väldigt svårt att kominusera med henne.

Pour mon premier jour à Phuket j’ai réservé cet hôtel, et à a grande surprise en arrivant on me dit que l’hôtel est complet tout en sachant que mon compte bancaire est débité de la sonne d’une nuit !!!
Une surprise pareille à 2h du mat, après 15 heures de vols ça flingue la morale !!
J’ai tenté de trouver une solution avec le personnelle, mais niet !!! je leurs parles et ils jouent avec leurs téléphones … ils m’ont obligé à payer une autre nuit d’hôtel à coté chez leurs voisins !!!
Imaginez-vous les nefs !!!

Le personnel n’est pas du tout à l’écoute. J’ai parlé avec d’autre client qui descendent de leurs chambres et tous me disent que l’hôtel est horrible

Overall, my stay was nice. The owner is very helpful. The location is great, 5 min to the beach, and 10 minutes to the shopping center, and Bangla Road.

Very good quality price

Water smelled bad and there were to many bugs in the bathroom.

The service was amazing and the manager of the hotel and her husband were so helpful. The rooms were very nice and clean. The room was within 5 min of the beach and lots of places to eat.

Slitt, med dårlig lukt. Bad ikke tilfredsstillende. Mye støy iforbindelse med renovering av fortauet. Trafikkstøy. + nært til stranden.

First of all, I arrived 2 hours before check-in time and the lovely lady owner allowed me to check in early along with a free room upgrade. Moreover, the lady helped me drag my heavy luggage to the second floor room. I was filled with gratitude by this act. The hotel is a boutique family run hotel with regular interactions between the lady and her husband. Daily room cleaning along with complimentary water bottles daily. Easy access to Money Exchange, Supermarkets etc.
The only small inconvenience is lack of lift but that is not an issue at all.
I would highly recommend you to stay in this hotel. Satisfaction 100% guaranteed. 10/10 from my side.

Beliggenheden er god.

Dejligt lille hotel med en utrolig venlig atmosfære. Superflinkt personale.
Ligger meget centralt i gå afstand til det hele.
Eneste klagepunkt er mangel på ordentlig belysning på værelset. Der mangler loftbelysning og ordentlige læselamper ved sengen
Kan anbefales til alle der holder af mindre steder med `sjæl´.
