Well positioned, very pleasant staff, excellent breakfast
Large spacious clean room. Comfortable bed nice and quiet, so had a good nights sleep. breakfast was sumptuous. The waitress in the morning was brilliant. She really looked after us, an absolute credit to the Down Inn.
All was good.
Unfortunately we arrived when it was super hot so as soon as we where shown to our room the heat hit us they did have a fan which wasn't any good as it just circled the hot air
If they had thought a head and closed the curtains it might have made it slightly better
I appreciate that the building is old which I liked but as soon as anyone walked on the bathroom floor it made a terrible noise so hence we didn't sleep.
Lovely big comfortable room with a view of the countryside. All the staff were helpful and friendly.

Lovely food and attentive staff

We have stayed at this property on a number of previous occasions and have always found it to be one of the best for accommodation and food. The staff go out of their way to make you feel welcome.
All was fine.
Independent run hotel with pub and restaurant
Large csrpark
The Down Inn is absolutely beautiful, great location.
This is the 3rd time I have stayed at this hotel and I will definitely go back again.
The bedrooms are very spacious, comfortable and spotlessly clean.
The staff are very friendly and nothing is too much trouble for them.
The food in the restaurant is homemade, very tasty and plentiful.

Room was brilliant, food excellent and staff were superb.
Best breakfast ever
The room, staff customer service, location, food.
Nothing
Food was of good quality and ample in quantity.
Plenty of parking space.
Very helpful and cheery staff
We were not given a room near our friends although my booking was for both rooms. New rooms are much bigger and better appointed than others.
Some rooms situated in the front of the hotel facing directly onto the busy main road. Noisy at night.
Bar and eating areas need a facelift.
A really nice olde worlde style pub. Lovely food, plenty of choice on main menu or carvery. 2 large
, very nice room with lovely countryside side views and lovely breakfast the following morning. Really enjoyed my stay here.
Nothing
Very comfortable plenty of parking well furnished rooms. Really good food menu and would definitely come again.
Nothing to dislike.
Easy to find, access and room size and clean. Food menu good.
Nothing on this visit
The Down Inn was excellent - clean, comfortable and very friendly staff. Lovely food and definitely value for money. I had a meeting in Bridgnorth and it was only a short drive away. The Inn was in lovely countryside and very quiet at night.
Nothing
The location is great, plenty of parking, not too far from Bridgenorth, friendly staff, good food etc
Liana our breakfast server deserves a special thank you, nothing too much trouble and just like last year a cheerful face.
The only thing to be aware of, and this only applies to some people, is that the bath is quite hard to get into. They do have an accessible room so if you think this might be a problem would suggest you request this room.
As I said most people would not have a problem.
The Breakfast was excellent
The shower blasted you with cold water before you could turn it to the hot position then you had to turn it to the cold position to turn it off.
Room 8 was really spacious and the bed and linen were exceptionally comfortable. There was a bath and shower, which is rare nowadays. The paintings and furniture gave the room an old world charm.
The cooked breakfast was delicious and there were lots of other breakfast options too.
Plentiful parking spaces.
All the staff were friendly and helpful.
£90 per night for a spacious room and breakfast is very good value, particularly for a bank holiday weekend.
Can't think of anything.
