Shangri-La Hotel Apartments Qaryat Al Beri

Lovely apartments, with a great range of pools to choose from. The complex is right next to a small Souk and supermarket, which made it really convenient for us. Location is beautiful, on a private beach opposite the mosque, but the taxi ride to the centre of Abu Dhabi is around AED80 each way.
Staff were very helpful and rooms were lovely. We stayed with our three children, aged 7, 12 and 14, and they loved the freedom to roam the complex and the general safety of Abu Dhabi.

This was a phenomanal hotel that is great for families. We booked a 2 bedroom hotel apt that was able to have all 6 of us in a very comfortable fashion.

Amenities include beach facilities, water sports and commection to the main hotel and shops and restaurants in the area. Highly recommended for families.

There was an absurd bridge to cross every time to enter the room. The staff were friendly but not helpful. No hose in bathrooms although this is common in an Arabic country. The showerbox was hard to use and leaked water. The coffee in the room was just Nescafe. The kitchen was good and the pool was OK. I won’t stay here again.

Great accommodation with excellent staff. Zen and Wai on front desk where amazing with there personal touch. The residence is separate from the hotel but within a short walk. Much quieter than the rest of the complex but that was how we wanted it....
Far enough away from central city but still within a short taxi drive to airport, downtown Abu Dhabi and Yaz where the Formula 1 track is located.
Will definitely be going back .....

Six night stay in the wonderful Shangri la residences. Private beach access on the doorstep. Staff very attentive.
Easy to use the facilities around the property.

My rooms was right next to a nice pool and the beach, the rooms were very clean and specious, the hotel facilities are above five stars, including the electric carts and abra boat that transport you between the different parts of the hotel, the spa was amazing and relaxing, the beach and various pools were great. My family was really really happy during the few days we spent there.

The standard of Shangri-La normally is good, But this hotel is the exception. Avoid to stay at the residences ( they are not well maintained and the quality is low), skip the breakfasts buffet, you will be regret.

The service and staff were amazing. Special mention to April,YOunus and Kapila.
Our son was well looked after too. Amazing views of the mosque and spacious apartment with good facilities.

The residences were very quiet on a Saturday - I only saw one other family while there. The pool was nice - and deserted. The room was great - very spacious, and with all amenities.

This is the 'residences' / hotel apartment part of the Shangri-la Hotel, so it's not directly in the hotel itself, but next to it. Regardless, it's a great facility with very spacious rooms of 5-star quality in every aspect. The rooms are well furnished to a 5-star standard with a living room, kitchen and bathroom. I had a spacious balcony with a sea view. The balcony has a nice lounger, so it's nice to actually relax on the balcony and make use it of it.

The residences are located between the Trader's Hotel, the Shangri-La Hotel and the Souq Qaryat Al Beri. The Souq has a great selection of a dozen restaurants.
