Breakfast and evening meals lovely, great value for money, staff really attentive and friendly.. room spotless and clean.
Had a fab couple of nights away..

Overnight stay - mattress uncomfortable, probably tired as had a metal band around the top of the mattress which rubbed on us overnight

Meal - first course fine but desert of Banoffi had very little banoffi in it but was smothered on squirty cream. Expensive at £6.95.

Clean room with comfy beds, smart TV, great shower and the staff couldn't be more helpful. Lovely breakfasts too.

Lovely property and owners. We were attending a wedding nearby and had a lovely stay.

The manager and staff were so helpful and friendly. The room was very clean,tidy and very welcoming. The food was excellent and I will always remember the steak and ale pie and the sticky toffee pudding. It was obvious it was all made within the hotel. I would recommend this hotel to anyone heading for Welshpool and the remainder of Wales. Thank you again to all the staff

Very welcome on arrival. The room was lovely and clean. The food we had in the evening was very nice.

Lovely room with modern facilities and period features. Friendly, welcoming staff (and cat) and good, wholesome food. Quiet, peaceful location, central for many interesting places within an hour's drive. Would highly recommend.

Should have been there by 5pm got there at 7pm. Great service had a lovely meal and great night's sleep

A lovely place to stay with ample parking. Close to the hotel was some nice walks that you can go on. The room I stayed in looked newly furnished and clean. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The food; particularly the free breakfast had a wide range to choose from and was good quality. I would recommend this hotel.

Such a warm welcome from Jackie and Jill, the room was spotlessly clean and had everything I needed. Breakfast was delicious as was dinner and I was made to feel totally at home. Travelling solo for work I felt safe and looked after. I would not hesitate to highly recommend.

Me and my wife had a fabulous stay for 2 nights..The room was spotless. The food breakfast and evenings meal were superb..Cooked well and well sized portions..The receptionists jill was so helpful and friendly.If you do vist you must visit the andrew langton sculpture museum. Just next door.. so interesting

Lovely accommodation and amazing breakfast

Lovely location. Attractive old country inn. Friendly & helpful staff. The weather was good, so we were able to sit out in the nice tiered garden.
Our room was very comfortable and clean, with a good shower. The downstairs bar and restaurant area is looking tired and needs redecorating. The food was very good with a good menu choice. Our breakfast was excellent and presented to order. Overall our stay was most enjoyable and very good value for money..

Early check in was happily accommodated - all very friendly and efficient. The room was smart and immaculate and the cooked breakfast was everything you could want.
