Bakfar Country Lodging

Nice and quiet place. 2-room apartment with a separate room for parents. Clean bedding. A simple and nutritious breakfast. I didn't like a dirty air conditioner with mold.

The location is stunning-- surrounded by mountains. Sweet place to sit outside. The breakfast was basic, but plentiful. But the rooms are old, the sheets are stained, the towels are thin, the bathroom is in poor shape (water damage and stained tiles). The room was sprayed with some SCENT-- that stayed until we left- if you have any allergies, this is not the place to stay. I expected Kibbutz style lodging, but I was disappointed in the quality and upkeep. It wouldn't take too much to upgrade. But it was the cheapest place in the area-- so as the saying goes.... you pay for what you get.

Great place

Considering the constraints caused by the Covid-19 pandemic, the communication was excellent, the breakfast quite satisfying, and our stay very comfortable. This isn't a 5 star hotel so don't expect that, but as a base to explore the nature, wineries, and beauty of the Galilee, this is a perfect spot.

Parking very close but not a disturbing place
1floor buildings surrounding a large lawn perfect playing ground for children

I enjoyed my stay at this property though it was bit difficult to find a reception office. Their amenities were very good, including wifi and kitchenette - sort of like cabin style. Otherwise, overall was great experience.

It was difficult to find the heated swimming pool using the provided map because some new construction made the map out dated. Breakfast was nice but not vegan friendly. Other than that everything was really great, we really enjoyed our stay!

Hula Valley is gorgeous. The Cfar Szold rooms are provide the minimal amenities needed. Very comfortable. Perfect spot from which to visit the various attractions in the area.

A basic country lodging in a kibbutz. One should not have great expectations.

quiet place in a great setting close by to many wonderful places in the Hula Valley, Qiriat Shmona, Metula & the upper Galilee overall!!

חיפשנו מקום במחיר נמוך העיקר שיהיה שקט מאוורר ונקי. קיבלנו חדר גדול נקי. מתוחזק לגמרי: מים חמים במקלחת. כיור וכוסות נקיים. אנו באנו רק לישון כנקודת מוצא לטיול. ראינו זוג עם ילדים בחדר שכן עשו על האש בשקט. יש דשא של קיבוץ. ארוחת בוקר פשוטה. זה לא בית מלון אבל מגוון מספק ומשביע. סהכ נחזור לשם שוב אם נצטרך.

Stayed for one night only, would have liked to stay longer. Had use of the nearby pool. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Very nice breakfast. Room was comfortable and spotlessly clean, comfortable beds. A great spot and excellent value for money
