Pros:

The location was great. The staff was friendly. Breakfast was good.

Cons:

The pool wasn't very warm, no hot tub. The wifi was spotty, and the cell signal was poor.

Great location, staff, clean, large rooms!
Pros:

The location was great for visiting the redwoods. The rooms were big and the fitness center was good. I really appreciated the staff! After driving through the unexpected winter storm, I arrived frazzled and Amanda, who checked me in, gave me a hug after I asked her to. Thank you!

Tired old hotel in desperate need of a revamp but it's in a good location.
Pros:

It's in a very good location to see the redwoods.

Cons:

Old and tired - not as I imagined from the online photos. However, it was the only hotel available in the area and we were grateful to get a room at the last minute. The carpets are plain awful in the rooms, thankfully I brought some slippers to wear. The restaurant is adjacent to the hotel and it's a bar menu so not the best. No breakfast is served.
