Cons:

Very dated design that isn’t clear in the photos online, dirty (carpet, grout in bathroom), self check in and out (via a dated and loud interface) while a front desk attendant stands there makes no sense, very cheap amenities from the coffee to the shirt robes to the packets of shampoo and conditioner, extremely thin walls, not great location

Good spot. Location 5 minutes from main area of Shinjuku. Small rooms but that’s Japan for you.
Pros:

The location of the Breakfast on the 12th floor is very good.
The buffet breakfast is adequate
Some what plain in areas however some parts will be more than substantial as in there could be meat balls. It’s good enough to get you going for the day. But don’t expect a plethora of variety.

Cons:

The rooms are very small but that’s Japan for you.
The beds could be a little firm or you might not have the most comfy pillow but you should be out all day or night and just put up with it.
Free toothbrush’s…razors….all on the bottom floor..
Location is fine. 5 minutes to most attractions in Shinjuku.

Pros:

Close walking distance to the Godzilla head and Sunway stations. Made transversing the city very easy.

Fine hotel in an interesting part of town
Pros:

Close to most of the action but the hotel is right in the seedy area of Shinjuku which felt a bit off to walk through at night. Rooms are TINY but they have everything you need.

Cons:

Bit close to the seedy area of town, wouldn't recommend for a family but for a couple or groups of friends it was fine. A single girl traveller may not like walking through this area at night, we saw a few off things that might make you feel uneasy!
