Excellent value - Great Stay!
Pros:

Great stay! All staff were friendly and room was great. No issues! Downtown location is perfect! Free shuttle to and from airport.

I would definitely stay there again, but it was a little expensive but not too bad.
Pros:

Everything about this hotel is exceptional. Location was perfect breakfast buffet delicious and all the staff very friendly and accommodating. Only issue was the bar was being remodeled so it was closed but other than that it was excellent.

Good location, clean
Pros:

Everything was clean, location was good to get to everything in Old Port.

The woman working the desk at night had poor energy and didn't seem to know what she was going. Every night we came home and it took honestly 30+ minutes to buy a bottle of water and snack. There was a line every night with major issues. Other than that, would go back. Breakfast wasn't bad for hotel breakfast

Pros:

We rode our motorcycle and they were not able to valet it. The valet was able to get us parked in the valet area at a discounted cost. This hotel is withing walking distance of everything.

Good location to downtown Portland ME
Valet parking was convenient and not too pricey compared to other overnight parking.

Cons:

Check in time was too late. 4pm
3pm in my experience is the norm.
Even an hour sooner would make a huge difference. Or check in early $50 charge if available ☹️

Excellent city centre hotel
Pros:

Nice staff and good welcome. Hotel is in an excellent location. Rooms very nice.

Cons:

Building work on going so not a pleasant lobby area (yet!). Car park is valet only and £40 a night however Portland is very expensive and it’s a good price for the area!!! Valet was lovely

Best Location for walking around Portland
Pros:

Location is fantastic right in the old town and you can walk everywhere.

Won’t do it again
Pros:

Location and bathroom were nice

Cons:

The bar was closed and will be for months. The hotel itself had nothing. The breakfast was terrible and they made us pay when there wasn’t enough to make two plates for me and my boyfriend. When checking in the woman was rude and didn’t believe me about my paid booking.

Little things that would make the room better
Pros:

It would’ve been nice to have a third trash can where the vanity/sink was and the painting in the bedroom would be better replaced by a mirror. Also a complimentary water in the room for each guest would be lovely after traveling.
Otherwise everything was great! Plenty of breakfast options and the valet parking was super convenient. The cookies we bought at the front desk were excellent!
