Would be nice for area to wash sand off feet before entering hotel. Experience was excellent
Been to this hotel on a few occasions and always impresses me with the lovely welcome you receive on your arrival. The staff speak a few languages but mainly English. The check in was very efficient , payment can be made in cash or any major credit/debit card, the only gripe I have is that there is a surcharge of 3% on cards which is a large amount when you are staying long time ( over 4 weeks ), nearly all the accomadations in Thailand dosn't charge and just absorb the bank charge I was using an dedit card which the banks only charge a small bank chage.
The hotel has a elevator to all floors and maintained well. The bedrooms are large, with a tiled flooring though out, but a little dated and could do with a freshen up. The amenities are inroom safe, ( also a safe in the reception area ) hair dryer, non smoking rooms, refrigerator, electric kettle, laundry service and bathroom accessories. All rooms have aircon and upper floor have a balcony with seating and a table. Rooms are cleaned daily bye very freindly housekeeping staff. Breakfast is served mostly europenan buffet style or asian great selction of dishes hot and cold rainging from salads, american style to a asian. The Lounge / Breakfast area is hosted by a professional waitress, who is from Maymar who has exellent english if you need any help with your travel plans.
This Tipurai beach has the use of a pool that is at the end of the road 2 min walk or the beach a 5 min walk the baech has a great bar/resturant which is open from 9.30am till 10.00pm every day execpt wednesday when it closes at 6pm. The beach has a selction of attractions, jetskies, massage, bannana boat rides, kitesurfing beginer to advanced and the famous horses. After all the days activites have a ice cold beer, gin and tonic or a glass of wine at the reception/lounge area or sit on the terrace all served by Wat Hua Hin most frendily night manager who is part of the of the furnishings he has been ther so long I have been told over 10 years.
I reccomadend this very well run hotel with great room rates approx $US 31 to $US 43.
Thanks for a great stay
Mr Hieneken.
They placed my Haachama plushie on the pillow instead of stuffing it in a bag like my last hotel did, best hotel ever!
Was recommended come to Hau Hin did some research came across this hotel. I cannot praise staff enough so helpful friendly like staying with family. Rooms are spacious clean fresh water everyday beds are made fresh towels maid is wonderful
Staff are helpful with tips on where visit how to get around
Walking distance to street food market soi 88, out back of there is a strip of music bars and bands, more bars near Hilton hotel
Beach is 2 min walk from hotel or bus for 15baht to khao takiab beach which is a smaller bay and calmer water
Communication was excellent as I had lot questions from
England when I booked and all answered within 24 hours
We even asked to stay extra 2 nights and late check out all was done efficiently. We will most definitely be back next jan 26
Awesome hotel! Best possible or imaginable breakfast!
Great interiors
All very nice
Staff sweet sweet
Perfect stay
Lovely staff!
My home away from home when in Hua Hin ,tucked away in the quiet soi 67. Lovely staff! Short walk to beach and Market Village.
One of the best packages: family-run hotel, dedicated staff, quiet side street, close to the Market Village and, above all, just a 3-minute walk from Hua Hin's immense beach.
Spacious rooms and bathrooms / small balcony overlooking the greenery (and the sea in the distance) which could do with a little refreshment, and very good bedding.
Breakfast - optional - good quality (sweet and savoury) with fresh fruit.
27 days stay !
Value for money: excellent!
Thipurai Beach Hotel Hua Hin
This is an excellent family run hotel 5 minutes from the beach. Easy walking distance from lots of amenities. Breakfast is buffet style.
Could be a little more modern but for comfort and cleanest it is great
Lift to all floors and some rooms have balconies.
I often stay at this hotel, the staff are very friendly and helpful which is why I keep coming back. This last trip in February was great again. The beach is only a five minute walk away and I love swimming in the sea, they make it easy by giving you beach towels. Laundry service is also super quick and good.
We stayed at the top floor, the room 1601 and it was light, nice, lot of space, 2 room with balcony.
We could sleep well in the bed, so it was ok. The bathroom was also ok, we could do what people usually do there.
The hotel is placed on a tiny street, with several guest house, the street is called 'Lyckliga Gatan' in swedish, it's a very special street, there are constelation of people who has been there every year, long stayers, most of them are scandinavian.
Short walk down to the beach. Short walk or tuktuk down town or MarketVillage. Couldn't be better, not so expensive either.
Very friendly and nice in a quiet street close to beach and Market Village. Super staff.
We booked through booking com, having seen enough beautiful photos and being inspired by a good location close to the sea. In fact, the whole building and the rooms in particular turned out to be in an extremely depressed state, everything is old, the rooms are small, wooden and dark, a huge TV from the 90s, there is no sea view, and even more so, a view either of another building or of the street, even on the upper floors. Initially, we rented a room on the lower floor, but after seeing the condition, we asked for a replacement, offered 2 floors above, with an additional fee and with absolutely the same view and condition of the room, naturally we refused.
When I wanted to change the booking, it was possible to change from 4 nights to 1 on the website, but confirmation from the hotel was required. The administrator proved to me long and hard over the phone that the system does not allow him to confirm the change, although everything went smoothly on the booking com side. As a result, I asked if the system would allow him to change the booking from 4 nights to 2 nights, to which I immediately received a positive response. It all looked like extortion, since there are clearly very few customers there, for the 2 nights that we were there, we saw only a couple of elderly people.
We asked "well, at least there is a pool?" To which we were told no, the pool is only available in a nearby hotel with the same name and you can't go there. It was a pure lie, since they have everywhere indicated the presence of a pool in this particular hotel. But there was no strength to argue anymore.
As a result, 2 restless nights and a huge overpayment in money, spoiled rest and bad mood. If this is what you are looking for, then I strongly recommend it, but if you want to have a good and fun vacation, bypass this place by the side.
This hotel was average. Good location, spacious, and for the most part clean.
Staff were friendly but only one spoke English and she was often off site. Not a huge deal for us but noting in case that is important for other travelers. We were told the annex (where we originally booked) was closed so we got an upgraded room…..
Where this hotel went wrong was that our room felt uncared for. When we arrived we had to ask for pillow cases as they neglected to put new ones on before changing guests so we just had the naked stained pillows on our bed. The decorative pillows and bed runner were tossed in the closet - maybe by the prior guests or cleaning team. The TV looked from the 1980’s and didn’t work but took up a lot of space. One of the bedside lights was missing a bulb. Overall it felt we got a room that was cleaned but not yet ready or prepped for guests. This was more apparent the next day when it was set up nicely after being cleaned - including complimentary waters that weren’t set out the first day. Our room was also very dark. No natural light, as an interior room which was okay but didn’t look like the photos.
A plus, the bed was comfortable and the AC was good.
All this could have been overlooked but one of the determining factors in choosing this hotel was the pool for our kiddo. Ultimately we did not use it. While it appeared to be a community Pool for several hotels in the area it was not maintained well by any. There were cigarettes all over. Beer bottles left on the benches and the concrete was broken in areas. It didn’t feel safe for our family.
If the pool was not a factor in staying here we may have overlooked the other issues.
We have been coming to this hotel for a few years usually to avoid sonkran I Pattaya
This is a basic but nice hotel and close to the beach
The staff are always courteous and friendly and hotel I very clean and set in a cosy quiet street
The breakfast is ok and a couple more farang channels would be good on the tv for rainy days
But n real complaints
Just a really relaxed place
ห้องกว้าง สะอาด พนักงานอัธยาศัยดีครับ แต่ที่จอดรถค่อนข้างจำกัดเพราะโรงแรมอยู่ตืดซอย
