If you need to stay a night when you travel by Berina Express this hotel is fine for a night or two.
Pros:

Very nice hotel close to the main attractions. Very helpful personnel. The hotel is old (something like late 70s, early '80s), but it was fine. Close to Berina Express and close to old town.

Mukava hotelli lähellä järven rantaa, erittäin hyvä sijainti. Helpon kävelymatkan päässä juna-asemalta. Aamupala oli ihan hyvä, tarjolla oli hedelmiä, leipää, erikoiskahveja, kananmunia jne. Ystävällinen henkilökunta ja siisti huone.

La posizione dell'hotel è ottima e comoda per visitare la città. Lo staff è stato sempre disponibile, gentile e pronto ad aiutare. La camera era pulita e confortevole.

Cons:

La colazione era buona, ma il personale iniziava a ritirare piatti e cibo molto velocemente verso la fine dell'orario. Sarebbe meglio attendere la chiusura della colazione prima di riordinare, così gli ospiti possono fare colazione con più tranquillità.

A nice location close to Lake Como.
Pros:

Following a late arrival on a crowded regional train, Massimo was welcoming and helpful in getting us checked in. He made a recommendation for a late dinner at one of the very few restaurants that were still open at our arrival time. The included breakfast has a nice variety and the dining area across from the park and Lake Como were an added plus. Everyone on the staff was very pleasant. We enjoyed Lecco very much as a community. We intend to visit again in the future. When we do, we look forward to repeating our visit.
