OK for a short overnight stay if you can get past the cleanliness issues. Friendly staff.
Pros:

Room was a convenient overnight stop when travelling from Northern Ca. to LA. Staff were friendly.

Cons:

Stairs to 2nd floor felt like they were going to fall down. Balcony had extensive damage to railings. Room remote barely worked. Room wasn't clean, bathroom in particular was dirty with signs of prior water damage. Room had no secondary lock and looked like someone had tried to kick the door in at some point.

The hotel seemed to have people living there long term.

While unloading my vehicle I witnessed what appeared to be suspicious activity in the parking lot (two cars came in, parked next to each other for an extended period of time while running, then left together leaving alcohol containers), and there were trashcans filled with beer bottles on the property. At a later time, when I went out to try and find the ice machine ( which was in an unlit area ), there was a vehicle parked and running directly behind where I'd parked mine, it drove off when I approached my vehicle.

I won't stay in this place ever again.
Pros:

I asked for a ground floor room since I am disabled and that was accommodated. The property was easy to find.

Cons:

My room didn't have a refrigerator as advertised (needed for meds). I called the front desk and they wanted me to come back and get keys for another room. Being disabled, this was difficult. The front desk person came by with the keys but they put me in a smoking room (my reservation was explicitly for a non-smoking room. The new room smelled awful, but I was so tired from the journey and already moving rooms once that I just didn't have energy to deal with it. Luckily I had room freshener with me. Why didn't they just give me a fridge in the original room?

Also, the reservation said the pool would be available, but when I asked upon check in, they told me that it had just been cleaned and needed a day for the chemicals to dissipate before anyone could swim.

The bathroom had a big chunk of wood cut out of the wall and sawdust on the floor. I just didn't feel it was clean enough to use the shower.

This property need a frequent bug inspection for we found two live ones on the floor as well as dead

I did not try the breakfast

Cons:

More pillows on the would be helpful as well as towels since the was one pillow each for me and my wife. Also, the towels were also only enough for one person not two.
