Very enjoyable & meals in restaurant excellent
Pros:

Very clean and good restaurant

Cons:

Small and could require more plug sockets particularly you need to have the kettle on the floor as the socket is at ground level.

De lokatie is midden in het centrum. We werden vriendelijk ontvangen en voor 12 euro een prima ontbijt bij restaurant Ricco naast het hotel.
Erg vriendelijk personeel.

Cons:

We kregen een kamer waar buiten een hele oude airco loeide. Die maakte zoveel lawaai dat we om een andere kamer gevraagd hebben (was 104). We kregen een nieuwe kamer die veel kleiner was, maar geluid was veel minder (er hangen overal airco's). Maar we keken uit op de trap van de nooduitgang. We besloten het maar zo te laten. De kamer is zo klein dat je koffer bijna nergens open neer kon leggen. De badkamer is gedateerd.

Happy with our stay at the Baltum
Pros:

We stayed at the Baltum for one week, mid December, on our first visit to the town of Albufeira. We had a room up on the third floor. It was clean when we arrived and was kept that way by daily housekeeping staff. Cannot fault them. We were very happy with the room, it had a comfy bed, ample wardrobe space, a fully operational shower room, TV and a tiny "juliet" balcony with two chairs on it. We had done our research before we booked, and knew exactly where the hotel was located in the old town. We were aware that the area can get noisey. In mid December the town was very quiet. We heard a little noise from a couple of bars that opened late, but it did not bother us, and we slept well. In saying that , given we are in our 70's, we would not wish to be there at busier times of the year. We found the hotel staff to be pleasant in any dealings with had with them. Ricco's restaurant, attached to the hotel, is excellent. We ate there four nights out of seven and also breakfast twice. All in all we had a very pleasant stay in the Baltum and would book there again.
