Abilene hotel/motels as a whole have lost their minds charging what they charge for these ancient, run down, unkept

The guy at the front desk was pleasant and accommodating.

Cons:

The room was filthy. The facility was equipped with security lighting but the room barely had drapery’s enough to cover the windows. Lights out the room was still bright as day - sleep was impossible! No way to recharge a phone - rooms need to be updated. The price of this room was ridiculously high given the condition it was in. The a/c was off when we arrived. The floors had been mopped but as not dried due to humidity and no a/c. In order to prevent a slip/fall incident I tried to dry them using the bath mat. The mat was black with dirt when I dried the floor with it! Furniture was old and needed to be replaced. To charge $121 per night for a Motel 6 is ridiculous enough - that charge for old, dilapidated, and dirty is just insulting! Never again.

Noisy air conditioning unit room Number 149
Pros:

It was all good\n Except your air unit was terrible.

Cons:

We didn't like that. Your air conditioner was noisy and we couldn't sleep at night. Because of the loud noise other than that, everything was all right, but you have to get that air unit fixed it rumble all night.

Worked for the pinch but would not recommend or ever stay again.
Pros:

Nothing. Staff was welcoming. But property did not seem safe.
