Exceptional hotel
Pros:

This is a truly wonderful hotel. Situated at the edge of Castro marina it overlooks the main swimming area of the bay. The staff are amazing, helpful and friendly. They make you feel so welcome. The hotel has a modern cool and crisp white and blue decor, the upper rooms have balconies overlooking the bay, the lower suits are exceptional with terraces onto the hotel’s Lido. Everything you need is in the hotel, a lovely restaurant and bar. And of course exceptionally clean. Guests have access to free umbrellas and sunbeds in front of the hotel. The public can access the wider lido, which creates a great buzz without being too busy. Castro is a wonderful seaside town, a great place for exploring the surrounding coastline of coves and swimming spots. La Roccia is the perfect base for this, an oasis of cool and calm among the wider holiday makers and with amazing Italian hospitality. We’ll be going back and highly recommend as a destination hotel.

Posizione panoramica e camere ampie

Cons:

25/30 euro al giorno per 2 lettini ed ombrellone PER CHI É GIÀ CLIENTE DELL’ALBERGO è troppo: dato che si pagano 15 euro al giorno per il posto auto, i due extra sommati ti fanno concludere che il cliente abbia pochi privilegi.

Struttura pulita. Posizione strategica. Buona la cucina, molto ricca la colazione.

I Bagni delle stanze sono datati con poca cura nei dettagli.(saponi shampoo)

Traumhafte Lage mit herrlichem Meerblick.
Sehr sauberes Hotel, freundliches Personal und eine entspannte Atmosphäre. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen.

Cons:

Die Parksituation war leider nicht ideal. Die hoteleigenen Parkplätze sind sehr eng und bei unserer Ankunft bereits ausgebucht gewesen. In der Umgebung sind Parkplätze je nach Zone recht teuer, und besonders an stark frequentierten Tagen kann die Parkplatzsuche schwierig sein. Wir mussten unser Auto schließlich weiter entfernt abstellen und etwa einen Kilometer zum Hotel laufen.

Un emplacement de rêve
Pros:

L'emplacement sur les rochers au bord de l'eau. Une très belle vue et la possibilité de bénéficier d'une place de parking. Les grandes chambres sont très confortables.

Cons:

Ne pas pouvoir bénéficier automatiquement d'une chaise longue, de devoir réserver et payer un tarif journée. Le tarif des chambres est élevé, sans rapport avec le service fourni. Le personnel est très aimable mais clairement insuffisant. L'hôtel doit faire un choix, augmenter ses prix et devenir un lieu exclusif avec un service top, ou au contraire les baisser et rester tel qu'actuellement.

Für eine Nacht ok, aber nicht zum Bleiben

Die Lage mit Meerblick ist sehr schön. Das Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Cons:

Das Hotel hat keinen Strandzugang,nur Felsen. Liegestuhl und Sonnenschirm sind auch für Hotelgäste 32 € und auch nicht genügend vorhanden. Selbst die Aussendusche kostet 0,50 Cent. Das Frühstück ist sehr bescheiden. Obst unreif, Käse und Schinken Industrieware. Selbst das süsse Gebäck war unterdurchschnittlich. Das WLAN ist wegen Bauarbeiten ausgefallen. Die Bauarbeiten störten den ganzen Tag.

Wow, I am getting emotional writing this review, as our experience at Rocca was truly one of the best stays we have ever had. Gabriella, our host, was such a kind soul and made our stay feel magical.

The room, oh, just spectacular. We stayed in one of the rooms that had not yet been renovated, and honestly, we preferred it. It felt like a true Italian seaside property: spacious, full of character, with plenty of furniture and space to store your belongings.

The view was out of this world. Waking up every morning to the bay of Castro Marina was simply perfect. We swam in the ocean there and had planned to visit more spots along the coast, but we ended up staying because we completely fell in love with Castro.

And the breakfast view? Absolutely sensational. We didn't want to leave.

Thank you, we will be back for sure.
