I had such a fantastic stay at this hotel. The staff were incredible, everyone was very friendly and helpful, they were always available and made me feel very welcome. The hotel is in a convenient location close to the centre for markets and restaurants. I really loved my stay and would recommend to anyone.

I really enjoyed my stay. All staff in particular Chen and Pun have treated me with kindness. The property is very clean and well looked after. After my initial 4 nights booked with Wotif, I extended another 6 night direct with the property as I was very happy with everything about the property and the people

Excellent staff, the hotel is a little older, but it is very nice, the welcome into the hotel was great, even had some basic list of common words in khmer would book again, some may not like the idea that it is right next to a grade school

The most welcoming staff, from the moment we turned up, till we left. Everyone was so happy to help and even chat in passing. Has to be one of the best experiences we've had at a hotel. When we come back it will be here, very central with everything you need only a few minutes away. We even rented a Tuktuk for a few days to explore the temples and museums, we were able to keep it in their carpark. 5 stars.

The staff here was really amazing! They were beyond friendly and welcoming, right from the moment you enter the door. Pricing was fair. Distance was perfect, still walkable to Pub Street and the shopping around there, but far enough away I wasn't disturbed by the noise. Very zen atmosphere at the hotel, I loved my stay!

My stay at the Golden Butterfly Villa has been amazing! It’s very clean and comfortable. I love my room! I also love enjoying a coffee in the lobby every morning with the lush green plants and beautiful ambience. The staff has been so kind, welcoming, and helpful! Everyone is so sweet, but Navin, Sophun, and Mr. Chen have gone above and beyond to make me feel fantastic during my stay. I’ve enjoyed it so much that I decided to extend my visit.

A beautiful hotel property within walking distance to the best spots in Siem Reap. The hotel staff went above and beyond with hospitality a really nice experience highly recommend.

Lovely hotel with amazing staff. It was more than I expected. Front desk helped me get a tuktuk to explore Angkor wat. Lots of food within a 5min walking radius. Only downside is that pub street is also close so my room had some late night noise when going to bed. But I also enjoyed having good cocktails and bars so closeby. The building itself is beautiful so I highly recommene it.

The staff are amazing. The hotel could use some attention to maintenance. The shower has inconsistent tempature varying between cold and hot. Please be aware there is no lift in this hotel. The alley leading to the hotel had no lights at night.

First let me say that you will not find a more friendly, helpful and utterly delightful hotel staff. They are terrific. They're charming, endlessly helpful, and genuinely caring. I can't say enough about them. I was there for several weeks and when I left it felt like I was leaving family. The hotel is lovely, as the photos will attest. The rooms are clean, comfortable and nicely appointed. The Golden Butterfly has great character, and the location could not be better. It's within a few blocks of everything that you might want or need in visiting Siem Reap. Right there you have the big central shopping market, Pub Street, the river, and loads of shops and restaurants. There's only one downside (apart from the hot and cold water, which can be a little contrary) and that's the elementary school next door. I love seeing the kids, but they can get pretty loud (I'm not the first person to mention that here). It can get pretty cacophonous during the school day, but, hey, if you're in Siem Reap for the sights, etc., you won't be spending the day in your hotel room, right? I was there to work, so I spent a lot of time in my room, and when the decibel level of the kids' voices became too much for me, the manager very generously upgraded me to a larger, more expensive room on the other side of the building at no extra cost. As I said, you won't find a sweeter, more thoughtful and considerate staff. All things considered,I highly recommend the Golden Butterfly Hotel.

A great place to stay! Very clean. Hotel reception very polite and accommodating. Mr. Chen took care of all my needs. Tours easily booked as well as airport transfers. Mr Ly Dan my knowledgeable English guide to Angkor Wat. Very close to ATMs, Pub Street, restaurants. Very affordable too. Highly recommended.

O hotel é proximo a Pub Street . O quarto é grande e confortável, porém o ar condicionado não gelava tão bem. Mas havia um ventilador que era possível ser ligado e o quarto ficava mais fresco. A recepção foi bem atenciosa e agradável .
