Es hätte so schön werden können...
Pros:

Lage ist perfekt, mitten in der Altstadt. Alle Sehenswürdigkeiten und die Stadtmauer sind in direkter Nähe. Busbahnhof, Geschäfte, Restaurants, Cafes...alles fußläufig zu erreichen.

Cons:

Wir hatten ein Superior Zimmer für 4 Nächte gebucht und uns auf "Romantik und Gemütlichkeit", und ein "liebevoll gestaltetes Unikat mit besonderer Atmosphäre" (Hoteltext) gefreut. Wir wurden enttäuscht. Das Zimmer war groß und hatte einen mit Raumteiler offen getrennten Schlafbereich. Dieser war in Ordnung und entsprach noch in etwa den Fotos. Der Wohnbereich dagegen war ernüchternd. Die Möbel (Tisch mit 2 Stühlen, Couch mit verblichenem Bezug ohne Kissen, kleiner Couchtisch, Schreibtisch mit abmontierter!!! Lampe) waren entlang der Wände aufgereiht. Es gab keine Dekoration (nur einen Katalog für italienische Hotels auf englisch) kein Willkommen. Alles wirkte lieblos. Die bei booking. com gelisteten Hausschuhe fehlten, im Bad gab es nur ein Minifläschchen Bodylotion. Nach der ersten Nacht wurde kein Zimmerservice gemacht, nach der zweiten Nacht schon, Mülleimer und Papierkorb nicht geleert. In der Küchenzeile gab es keinen Schwamm, kein Handtuch, kein Spüli. Nach Reklamation an der Rezeption wurden abends dann Hausschuhe hingestellt, Bodylotion erst einen Tag später. In der Küchenzeile änderte sich nichts. Unserem Wunsch, mit dem Manager zu sprechen, wurde nicht entsprochen. Er sei an diesem und dem nächsten Tag nicht im Haus. Ganz anders ging es beim Frühstück. Eine schöne Auswahl mit frischen Lebensmitteln... und dazu Claudia vom Service, die sich freundlich und herzlich ganz gästeorientiert um uns gekümmert hat. Danke dafür, Claudia!

Cons:

The reception staff was often unavailable, and communication in English was very poor.
It was a big problem to get an invoice at the reception (it was a business stay).
The staff at breakfast was also weak, scrambled eggs were missing all the time and we waited about 10 minutes for mustard.

Top hotel, top ontbijt, erg vriendelijk!
Pros:

Mooie ligging op de doorreis naar Zuid-Duitsland. Erg fraai hotel, grote kamers, prima comfort. Ontbijt was heerlijk!

Cons:

Enige was de stretcher die niet lekker lag.
