Pros:

Perfect location in the heart of Montevideo, within walking distance of many attractions.
Nice rooftop.
Housed in a beautiful historic building.
Cool interior design.
Charming retro elevator.
Good Wi-Fi.
Plenty of common areas, including a coworking space.

Cons:

Towels are available only for an extra fee.
The access system is a bit inconvenient: you have to ring the bell at the main entrance every time you enter (although someone opens it quickly), and the rooms use physical keys instead of key cards (which is not convenient for a dorm).
No shelf or bedside storage.
The dorm room had no clothes hooks, so there was nowhere to hang a jacket.
Lockers are available, but you need to bring your own padlock.
Slow check in.

Pros:

Localização excelente e quarto com camas super confortáveis. Banheiro muito bom porém, teve problema com a água que estava gelada e durante os três dias que fiquei na hospedagem não conseguiram resolver o problema.

La ubicación.

Cons:

Los recepcionistas NO son amables con los latinos, te cobran mucho mas de lo que se hace la reserva, te ponen el tipo de cambio que les da la gana y tuve que pagar $10 dólares mas aproximadamente. Las chapas de las puertas mal, varios focos no encienden. Sol te dan una cobija delgada y hace desamasiado frío y no hay calefacción. Y no hay actividades para integrar a los viajeros como otros hostel.

Pros:

Great location, the staff was really helpful and the room and common areas were really clean. The bonus part is that the building has thick walls, so the room was always quite even during the busy hours.

Estadia interessante no Viajero de Montevideu.
Pros:

Edifício absolutamente histórico, marcantemente do século XIX para o XX, o que resulta numa experiência muito particular, muito especial, pela arquitetura preservada da época, pela arquitetura interna, mais especificamente pelo elevador original que serve aos 4 andares do edifício. O Viajero tem amplas áreas comuns de convivência, ampla cozinha totalmente equipada com tudo, e os beliches muito bem distribuídos no dormitório, sem estarem enfileirados necessariamente, mais parecendo ilhas, evitando monotonia visual. Banheiro completo privativo no dormitório, com muita água quente, bem grande, além do Viajero ter vários lavabos fora dos dormitórios compartilhandos, ou seja, sempre há banheiro para usar.

Cons:

O "enxoval" fornecido na cama do dormitório 304, no caso, tinha lençóis muito finos e gastos, só uma coberta de frio, daquelas atoalhadas, muito fina, também.
