Amble stay
Pros:

Location was perfect a short walk down into the town centre and harbour.
Food was good. Staff were pleasant and made us feel welcome.

Cons:

Not sure if the room was checked properly before our arrival as night wear was still in the bathroom.

Wellwood not so well
Pros:

Amble is a lovely village, pub looked nice from the utaide

Cons:

Constant noise in the room all night. Constant loud noise from the pub beyond 00:00am. Arrived home and had a message from the pub seemingly accusing us of breaking a bed. Second time staying and was upset the pub didnt have the same feel as prevoius stay.

Relaxing ,exactly what we expected and excellent value for money
Pros:

Great choice of cooked breakfast and cereals.Cooked breakfasts hot and tasty.
We had our evening meals at the hotel which was very nice with a good choice

Cons:

Room was very hot although there was a fan in the room .

The location is very good.

Cons:

Breakfast wasn’t very good. No fresh fruit or yogurt. Very limited cereal selection. There wasn’t even any bread if you fancied any.
