Hotel Posada Malix Pek

No elevator and the stairs to the second floor are barely wide enough for a travel bag.

The front desk person didn't have my reservation and didn't have access to a computer to look it up.

There was no hot water and the (cold water) shower was very lower pressure.

Beds were lumpy.

Sehr lautes Hotel, da direkt an der Zufahrt zum Busbahnhof, neben einem Resturant und einem Motorrad-Lieferdienst. Zudem ist die Hauptstraße des Ortes dicht dran. Zimmer sind mit Aunahme von ein paar kleinen Mängeln in einem gutem Zustand. Personal ist freundlich und hilfbereit.

Super Unterkunft mit geräumigen Zimmern und super warmer/heißer Dusche. Mega gute Lage zur Hauptstraße mit vielen kleinen Läden und super Restaurants.

Leider hat das wifi nicht wirklich gut funktioniert und Nachts war es auch mal lauter, aber eher durch komische nicht zuordnender Wassergeräusche.

Se non sbaglio nel servizio EXPEDIA comprendeva il trasporto dall'aeroporto e la colazione. Invece non c'era nulla.
Il posto é pulito e abbastanza ben tenuto. Il personale gradevole. Il problema più grosso é il rumore (causa la maleducazione degli ospiti) che fanno casino tutta la notte senza regole!

Expida cobro muy caro un hotel con pocos servicios. El hotel atiende muy bien a sus posibilidades, pero el cobro de expida super excedido. No puede cobrar tanto por un hotel con pocos servicios

The hotel is in a great location a few seconds walk from the main road in Tulum centre, with shops, laundry, gym, bars and restaurants all within walking distance. Staff friendly and helpful. Hotel is basic but clean and spacious. Water pressure in bathroom is not good so if you like a decent shower consider this. Not sure if this is just rooms on upper floor or all hotel. Tulum is a big town, but still in the jungle, so bring anti-mosquito spray or plug-in for night time.

Excellent little hotel for the price,it has anything you need, close to everything.

Habitación cómoda, limpia.Buen Servicio. Cerca de todo en Tulum.

Tres bon accueil. Proche de la rue principal. Nous avons eu un problème d air conditionné mais ils ont rapidement fait intervenir un réparateur.
Dommage que le rideau de douche ne soit pas plus grand car toute la salle de bain est mouillée. Mais ca reste un détail.

Great place good location clean and great staff. We stayed here just for the night great place to sleep in since we were driving all around the coast.

This was my first time in Playa del Carmen and my first time staying at a hostel. I was very reluctant but I am so glad that I stayed at this place. In fact for the rest of my trip I booked at hostels but none of them compared to this one. It is absolutely adorable, like stepping into a jungle, and the rooms were super cool and modern with excellent air conditioning. I slept too late to get breakfast because I was out late the night before dancing in all the discos which are literally one block to two blocks away. This hostel is in the heart of the center of Playa del Carmen with the shops, restaurants, and the nightlife. At this price it was amazing. $45 for two queen beds private shower, in air conditioning room. Excellent service, extremely clean, very friendly reception and the other guests were kind and clean in the group kitchen and hostel. I think one of the perks was that they did not charge me a third guest fee when I had a friend come and stay in the other bed in our room. Everywhere else wanted 30 to $40 which was ridiculous. I highly recommend hostel MX!

The hotel was ultra clean. In our apartment there was a kitchen, so we enjoyed almost all the fruits from a local store and washed them clean at home. The only problem was with the AC in one room only, so one room was cold and another hot.

Lo que no me gusto fue que al llegar al hotel no contaban con pago con tarjeta, siendo algo que había yo solicitado cuando hice la reservación, mala atención del responsable del hotel Sr. Gregorio

We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel. We could rent bikes every day. The location was good, close to restaurants and shops, and easy to bike to cenotes and to the beach. It was also very peaceful and quiet. We recommend you to stay here!

We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Posada - it was clean, the beds were comfy and the hotel itself was nice. Regarding the service: the reception was open 24/7 which was a nice bonus, and I got help from the cleaning lady to open the room when I forgot the key with my friends who were still out. However, when we were checking in, the man at the desk didn't understand the words "check-in" in English, so we had a difficult time explaining in Spanish what we wanted, but eventually he understood and compensated with great service. So be prepared to whip out the dictionary. Another lady at the desk spoke great English though. The toilet in our bathroom didn't flush, but we were too lazy to report it, so I'm sure they would've fixed it if we asked.

We highly recommend the restaurant "Burrito Amor" which is a barely five minute walk from the hotel.
