My reservation disappeared. Thank God I called ahead.
I booked my room through Booking.com. When I called to let them front desk know I would be pulling in late in the evening, They told me there was no reservation. I had to stay in another city.

When I went to check in, they were attempting to put us on the 3rd floor. Their elevator was not working, I told them we couldn't stay in the 3rd floor because my husband has difficulty walking. The staff member said they didn't have any floors on the bottom floor & she said she would cancel the reservation. I noticed that the reservation was not canceled via booking.com the next day, so I ended going back the next day to make sure I would be able to cancel for free; I took my husband's handicap placard to show them as proof since my husband wouldn't get off the truck. I was told again by the staff member that the reservation has been canceled by them. Siince it seemed that there was an issue between the communication between the hotel & booking.com, I requested a free cancelation via booking.com. I got a call from booking.com on 12/2/25 & I thought the issue was cleared up but it hasn't been.
Location
First, I booked several rooms. The elevator was broken. When I booked the rooms I checked I would pay at the property. Everyone would pay for theirs own room with their own credit card. The woman at the desk was new so the woman at the back did not speak to us and she went ahead and charged the rooms on the card used to hold the rooms. Then she came from the back and said the card was declined on a room. I asked why she put the rooms on the card when all rooms were under a different name . She gave an half ass excuse. This is the second time there was an issue with billing. The breakfast was horrible. The so called French toast was hard as a brick.
