Abbiamo trascorso un soggiorno davvero piacevole. Lo staff è stato sempre gentile e disponibile, con una menzione speciale per Nicoletta, la ragazza italiana, che ci ha colpiti per la sua professionalità, simpatia e cordialità.
La colazione è stata abbondante e di buona qualità, mentre la stanza era pulita e ben curata.
La posizione dell'hotel è ottima: il tram ferma proprio davanti alla struttura e i bus turistici scoperti per i tour della città sono facilmente raggiungibili, rendendo gli spostamenti davvero comodi.
Abbiamo inoltre avuto il piacere di trascorrere una serata allietata da un cantante davvero bravissimo, che ha contribuito a rendere l'atmosfera ancora più piacevole. Un soggiorno che consigliamo volentieri.
L'unico piccolo inconveniente è stato il fatto che uno dei due ascensori fosse fuori servizio. Durante i tre giorni del nostro soggiorno non è stato riparato e, considerando il numero di camere dell'hotel, questo ha comportato qualche attesa e un po' di disagio.

The room was a good size and had a private balcony. It was clean and had a good continental breakfast. The location was decent, but quite a walk for several tourist attractions (ex castle) which didn’t bother us, but just something to keep in mind. .
The staff was not rude, but they were not friendly either. The room lacked any kind of mini fridge for keeping things cold and at the time of our visit only one elevator was working. There was also no bathroom in the restaurant/bar which seems odd and was pretty inconvenient.
Great stay, hotel with the best views. Easy access through st Andrew's square. Nico at reception gave these best advice
On arrival we noticed one of the two lifts out of order. Discussion at reception revealed it had been out some time. Previously we learnt it had taken the engineer over a month before attending. This became to be quite annoying as sometimes after quite a wait it would arrive full or even worse full of staff and cleaning materials. 2 suggestions, 1) get a maintenance contract with a 24 hour response time 2) don’t allow staff to use it during busy times 07:00- 10:00. Put the customer first! Mention of this to reception fell on deaf ears.
To the room, 304. This is quite compact and an odd shape. There is a table and 2 chairs, one of which obstructs the opening of the wardrobe door. The wardrobe containers the tea/coffee tray but it needs removing to use. There is only a narrow space between the bottom of the bed and the wall mounted tv. Storage space beside the bed is limited by prefixed ornaments further obstructing the power sockets. Only one side has USB ports. The bed was comfortable.
The bathroom is much smaller than the external footprint suggests. The shower is very compact which is worsened by the vertical pipe and shelf allowing only just enough room to turn around when the shower door is closed. Pity the shelf wasn’t in the corner. The wash basin is shallow with limited space for storage.
Complimentary breakfast (Continental, no other option available) is served in the bar/ lounge area with much of the seating unsuitable. Some stools are placed up against a planter and some have a table only large enough for a cup/mug. The lounge seating I found too low to sit and eat at. Food was of varying quality. Scrambled egg was always overcooked, porridge was sometimes a solid block and pastries varied in availability/ choice. Numerous varieties of milk except the original full fat. Needless to say we never had dinner here.
Evening drinks were pleasant but that’s probably due to so few customers being present. We had to pay for these as we went along because my credit card hadn’t been preauthorised at check in. Why didn’t they ask?
I can’t recommend this establishment and won’t stay again.

La habitación bastante cómoda, sin ser ámplia el tamaño es bastante confortable, el baño de buen tamaño y limpio. Buenas camas. La atención del personal excelente, todos muy atentos y amables. La ubicación excepcional.
El desayuno muy bueno y bien atendido.
No me gustó el acceso a las habitaciones, si ibas por las escaleras ya que el ascensor era muy lento, entras en un laberinto de pasillos muy estrechos y oscuros, con miles de puertas y escaleras. Eso nos resultó un poco incómodo
Colourful hotel, located in a great area to explore the city and have tram from/to the airport few meters away. Staff are extremely welcoming and kind, the breakfast is lovely with lots of choices.
Internet was a bit slow in my room but I’m only “complaining” about it because I was on a business trip and needed to do some work.
