Great hotel in the city centre
Pros:

Central location for exploring the city and close to tram stop.

Hôtel parfaitement situé pour visiter Édimbourg
Pros:

Hôtel très bien placé, propre et bien décoré, lits très confortables.
Petit déjeuner copieux et de bonne qualité.
Arrêt de tram’ à quelques minutes à pied pour l’aéroport.

Cons:

Peut-être avoir quelques personnes à l’accueil avec quelques notions de français.

Fantastic location, beautiful Hotel friendly staff.
Pros:

Breakfast was fantastic, room was comfortable, bathroom beautiful, shower fantastic.
We were also left a gift and card for our fortieth wedding anniversary, which was so thoughtful.

Cons:

You would need a hand rail for people with mobility issues or elderly to pull themselves up from the toilet, plus the toilet is too low.
Hot chocolate would be nice on your tea/ coffee tray in the rooms.

Hotel moderno, visualmente lindo e os quartos muito confortáveis. Coube certinho eu e meu esposo com 4 malas. Posicionamento perfeito para quem chega de trem ou tram. O ponto alto pra mim foi o café da manhã!! Mts opções deliciosas, inclusive salmão defumado.

It’s a beautiful hotel with a very central location, but expensive for what you pay for.
Pros:

The hotel is located centrally and ideal for our trip and for anyone else visiting Edinburgh. It had stylish, artistic decor.

Cons:

Our room was expensive - yet tiny. The walls were paper thin, meaning we could hear every footstep, voice and the cleaner who began loading up their cleaning station from the cupboard supply at 5am! I have stayed in hotel rooms twice the size, yet more than half the price which were more comfortable and less noisy.

Perfect location with friendly welcoming staff
Pros:

Fantastic location. The staff at the hotel are really welcoming, friendly & helpful. Rooms were nice & clean & there is a fantastic power shower.

The bar and bar food is good & it is a nice place to have a drink. We ate there a couple of times & it was a lovely relaxed atmosphere. Also an acoustic guitarist was playing in the bar on one of the nights which was a nice extra.

The location is perfect & we’d definitely return here.

Cons:

I wasn’t keen on the breakfast. It’s a buffet style breakfast with continental options. I didn’t like that people were touching food instead of using implements (not the hotel’s fault). But I found the breakfast options a little bizarre so on the 2nd day we went round the corner & bought brunch elsewhere. Lots of lovely places to choose from. I think if I had the option next time I’d book without breakfast as so many places a stones throw from the hotel.
