Pros:

Location was the only thing that was good

Cons:

No air conditioning and lots of noise all night long cold reception about it and wouldn't even have said it was due to the heat wave it's not due to the heat wave if you don't have the functions there they were there but all broken

Mortified, embarrassing
Pros:

Bed was comfy , good location

Cons:

When we arrived after the check in time our room wasn’t ready we were asked to wait in the bar it cost £21 for a pint of larger and a gin and lemonade we had one and asked if the room was ready it still was not so another £21 and an hour later the room was ready , walked into a small room unpacked and my partner had a shower this flooded the bathroom floor then another guest had been given the same room key and walked into our room while we were naked I was mortified and embarrassed!
They gave us a new room but I didn’t settle very well and it spoiled the trip

Much better places available for the same price.
Pros:

They wanted to charge us £15 each to use the pool which is unacceptable - £20 if you aren't honours members. The other Hilton was the same price with an executive bar so why would you choose to use this one?

After that the rest starts to just grate because it's simple things other hotels at the same rate just do. No one's asking for anything special.

Shoeprints on the bathroom floor.
Just a shower with a curtain - no bath which is more annoying due to lack of pool.
There's no service lift so you're constantly waiting for staff to use the lifts with trolleys before being able to use them yourself.
£15 a day to park - yet more hidden fees.
The room didn't have simple things like a door sign so we couldn't communicate when the room needed doing.
Room window overlooked the side of another building.
Breakfast is sub-par. It's just all left out and goes stale under the heat lamps with dodgy waiting room tea and coffee on offer.

Much better options in Liverpool for the price.

Was ill after breakfast Monday morning , didn't leave the room all week because of sickness .
Pros:

Location was fine not acceptable for disabled ppl 😕

Cons:

No stairs , yes their were lifts to the rooms that's fine, but stairs to the breakfast area and to the seated area by the TV room

A little underwhelmed.
Pros:

Staff were very accommodating.

Cons:

We paid for use of pool and hot tub. The hot tub jets only worked on the large seat area..... No good for others sitting around the edges. Only one locker worked which is a deep concern. No bags to put costumes in afterwards.

Decent stay but won’t stay again due to musty smell
Pros:

Lovely old building but was like a maze. Room nice and large but smelt musty. Curtains drawn to keep heat out but the room had not been aired in ages. Towels bedding and room never smelt fresh.
Staff on reception not the friendliest
Hotel looked clean enough just smelt bad.
