Pros:

Location was great for being in and around the city , the hotel was comfortable, staff were great . Would definitely stay again

Cons:

Air con on in the breakfast room it made the food cold really quick . Also that you have to pay extra to use spa facilities .

Cons:

I chose this hotel over others even thoguh ti cost more because it had a pool. But when I arrived I discovered i had to pay more to use these facilities . Really disappointing.

Cons:

The air con didn’t work in my room at all, and in the middle of a heat wave that is not acceptable, I had a fan that didn’t really help at all, and the carpet is very dated and feels dirty. And I found some of the staff very rude and very unaccomodating.

Never again!!
Pros:

We stayed at the double tree Hilton on Wednesday night and our experience can only be described as horrible. We checked in to a beautiful building lovely reception great staff then we got to our room. Air con was non existing and some cooling fan thing had been placed there. The fridge was warm, air con didn’t work. We went to reception explained our issue and were basically told it was tough. We requested a fan which they did do. After an evening out we returned to what can only be described as a sauna!!? The fan rotated the hot around the room and it smelt damp. There are no windows that open, it was horrific!!
Possibly one of the worst nights sleet I have ever had.

When we went for breakfast which I must say was very nice the bar and restaurant were very well air conditioned!!!!
As we checked out and were not asked how our stay was I raised the issue to be told the air con was down!!
We book our hotels with air con due to my wife’s condition and this was simply not on.
They knew the air con was an issue and down nothing about it.
I over heard several other people complain and we were asked if we wanted to speak to the manager but we were on a schedule and couldn’t wait half an hour for a fob off
Not happy at all. To make it worse, there is no external windows that open so it was lottery a sweat box which is a really shame as it is a lovely room.

Room was amazing , great ,location and bar set up .
Pros:

The room was fabulous in my option and the bed was very comfortable , the recaption and bar staff were all great during your visit .

Cons:

Breakfast for poor in my option as we asked for poached eggs when we got into the dinning room and it was almost 15 min before the chef supplied these to our table , the female server for breakfast never said a work too anyone , not helpful no welcoming smile etc, i found the whole breakfast serves a disappointment , as for me breakfast if the last thing you see and remember during your visit .
This is just my option on this .

Luxurious Stay in City Centre
Pros:

This is a luxurious hotel in the centre of Liverpool, probably the best Doubletree I've ever stayed in.
The guestroom was spacious and comfortable with all necessary facilities, and the dining room was a touch above others at this price level.

Good quality all round
Pros:

Excellent location, comfortable room and good service. The staff were friendly and helpful. The food was good too. The next time that I am visiting Liverpool then I will stay at this hotel again. Thank you to all the staff.

Only stay here if it’s cold outside.
Pros:

Amazing building.

Cons:

The room was advertised with air conditioning, this did not work. No windows to open it was like a sauna worse nights sleep we’ve ever had. Ruined our next day as we were exhausted.
