Perfect location
Pros:

Fantastic stay!!!
Pros:

Stayed at the Double Tree Hilton with my husband. Lovely, clean and very welcoming hotel. Staff were very attentive and helpful throughout our stay. Would like to say a special mention to Connie on Reception. Lovely lady, who welcomed us at check in and made sure we had everything we needed. Secondly, thank you to Hossam. Hossam was so friendly and professional ensuring our breakfast was a fantastic experience. Finally, I would like to mention Gary from maintenance. Lovely guy, who told us a little bit about the history of the building and the best places to eat and drink in Liverpool. Would definitely recommend this hotel and can’t wait to return with our boys next time.

Fantastic, would highly recommend
Pros:

I stayed at double tree Hilton with my wife which was vey welcoming and clean and tidy. I would like to thank Connie on reception, Hossam in the restaurant and Gary from maintenance who couldn’t have done enough for us and went above and beyond to make our stay a fantastic experience. I would highly recommend.

Wouldn’t stay again but night staff male gentleman was lovely
Pros:

Night staff worker was lovely
Although the jacuzzi was out of use the pool was nice

Cons:

Staff ignored me and my partner for 45 minutes at breakfast even tho no one else was there

Great location, comfortable room
Pros:

My third time staying in a Doubletree Hilton hotel via booking.com and it was a great experience once again. Amazing location, 5 min walk to main shopping area. Great value for money. My room was clean and big, shower was also big and great pressure. Bed comfortable. When I come back to Liverpool I would definitely book into this hotel again

Cons:

I didn’t visit the spa, I do think that this should be free for hotel guests. It would be nice if the room had bottled water and a window you could open but these are not huge issues at all

Pros:

The hotel was conveniently situated close to train station and other transport. Also very close to museums, the ports, shopping and other amenities. There was a good choice for breakfast each day. We ate in the restaurant one night which was very good

Cons:

It got a bit noisy on the Saturday night, but I believe there was a wedding taking place .
No other complaints really. We did not use the spa or gym

Pros:

The Hotel is perfectly situated. The staff were very attentive friendly and helpful. The bed was very comfortable.

Cons:

The buffet breakfast wasn't great. Most of the hot food was cold and the continental breakfast was very poor as there was very little meat and cheese to choose from. However there were plenty of pastries and sweet items for those with a sweet tooth, which we don't have.

Dreadful experience both at the hotel and subsequently
Pros:

Extremely poor.
No functioning air conditioning in the room. Windows don't open. Room was unbearably hot and smelly over the bank holiday weekend when there was a heatwave, especially at night. Manager refused to speak to me at checkout saying he wasn't on duty. Receptionist unable to assist so gave me an email to complain. Duty manager delayed in answering and did so only when prompted. Despite agreeing with my complaint, wasn't prepared to address it satisfactorily e.g. by refunding all the points I had paid (in addition to over £400 for two nights). That is not acceptable for anyone and I am a Diamond member. Did I feel appreciated for my loyalty? No I did not!

We booked a 2 hour slot for the spa which wasn't cheap and when we turned up the hot tub was out of order.

Lovely relaxing stay
Pros:

Amazing experience with my partner, lovely staff who were happy to accommodate holding bags and fitting us in at breakfast. Thermal rooms in spa were gorgeous, I have used them twice now and they never overbook. A short walk from the train station but not right in the middle of all the noise, a nice relaxing location. Room was lovely and clean, very nice smell and great extras. Will be returning!

I liked everything about the property, the friendly welcome, professionalism of the staff. The room was clean and a very good size and the bed was very comfortable.

Cons:

There wasn’t enough coffee and milk but would have also liked a 12:00 checkout
