Friendly and peaceful environment.
Pros:

It’s a beautiful and peaceful hotel to arrive to from after a long plane journey. The staff are friendly and the food was delicious. We thoroughly enjoyed the sound bath in the early evening in the meditation room.

Cons:

two nights in a perfect place to get ready for the trip home.
Pros:

Great hotel only 20 minutes from Colombo airport. Lovely grounds and nice swimming pool area. Great rooms, and lovely dining options in the hotel. Also loved the yoga class. Just what we needed.

Dipping a toe into Sri Lanka
Pros:

It ticks all boxes for a first day in Sri Lanka or for a few days at the end as it’s so very close to the airport yet a million miles away.

Food excellent, staff wonderful and so chilled out with some lovely touches. Nice pillows and bedding too.

Cons:

We were in room 21 and I wish we had a little more privacy. There’s no privacy blind so you have to keep the main blind closed due to the rooms location. This meant the room was lacking in natural light.

Something they could think about is adding a lamp to the sitting area to create a little more ambiance. The light is quite stark in this area. Only an observation.

Hidden gem close to the airport.
Pros:

Perfect intro or exit to Sri Lankan holiday
Pros:

Large rooms, great social hour, relaxing grounds with games to play everywhere. Staff were excellent and spa was perfect treat before a flight

Cons:

Pool was in the shade and didn’t get much sun at all during the day which made it very cold and not a relaxing dip. More a cold plunge!

The staff was all men! The could us a few women’s amenities (make up mirror, larger closet, toiletries, etc).

A disappointing stay in a very nice property which was spoiled by air-con and water problems.

Cons:

Air conditioning was very noisy and leaked all over our luggage. The twin beds were very narrow. In the morning there was no water for showers (due to a burst pipe.)
