Please note that any booking of 4 or more rooms on a particular night will be regarded as a group booking and a 25% deposit will be charged 3 months prior to arrival and the balance payment will be charged 30 days prior to arrival.Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. Great hotel in a great location for arrival and departure
Pros:

It’s in a great location for arrival and departure, and it’s a lovely hotel in any case. Great rooms, great staff, great pool.

Cons:

Nothing. There isn’t much around the hotel. But that’s not why you’re there.

Pros:

Perfect soft landing first night for an arrival to Sri Lanka. Colonial design and architecture was stunning, the bathroom was the best of the whole trip , enormous! Breakfast, staff and all transfer arrangements exceeded my expectations.

Excellent!
Pros:

A beautiful manor house with elegant colonial architecture, set amidst lush green gardens. The room was spacious and comfortable. The staff were welcoming, attentive, and always willing to assist. Many thanks to all of them for making our stay enjoyable.

Feels like you're in the peaceful jungle yet only 15min from the airport
Pros:

A return visit to this beautiful hotel - this time as a layover en route from Europe to Australia. We received gracious hospitality, the room was spacious and very quiet, the garden filled with bird-life to watch from the traditional veranda. Staff are attentive, and food delicious. Highly recommend for a soft landing/departure from Sri Lanka. I'll be keeping out my eye for yoga retreats in the new shala, too!
