Please be sure to check for road closures during winter months. Highway 120 (Tioga Pass) typically closes from late October until late May. When the Tioga Road is closed, it is not possible to drive to Tuolumne Meadows or enter Yosemite National Park from the east. All other park entrances, including those along Highway 120 from the west, Hetch Hetchy, Highway 140, and Highway 41, remain open all year.

Please note: This year, the Tioga Pass will be closed until late June.

Pros:

Stayed here for a week while hiking the PCT. Its very comfortable and in a good position.
The guy on reception was so helpful.
Really good value for Mammoth.

Motel 6 Mammoth Lakes offers a great, convenient location at an affordable price. The hotel staff is incredibly kind, the rooms are clean, and parking is very easy to access. We also appreciated the free morning coffee at reception. Plus, there are plenty of dining options nearby for any type of meal.

Cons:

Just a minor detail: while the room suited the two of us, it might be a tight fit for four guests. Storage space for luggage is quite limited, though it was less of an issue for us since we could easily access our car.

Das Hotel hält was es verspricht. Es kostet nur $150, dafür bekommt man ein kleines, sauberes Zimmer. perfekt für unsere Durchreise.

Mammoth Lakes è molto bella e la struttura è abbastanza centrale.

Cons:

Siamo in cinque, ci danno una camera con due letti matrimoniali e quando lo facciamo notare ci dicono di dormire per terra. Alla reception una persona che non sa come comportarsi. Molto triste. Per il resto camera piccola, vecchia, che non offre nulla.
