Please be sure to check for road closures during winter months. Highway 120 (Tioga Pass) typically closes from late October until late May. When the Tioga Road is closed, it is not possible to drive to Tuolumne Meadows or enter Yosemite National Park from the east. All other park entrances, including those along Highway 120 from the west, Hetch Hetchy, Highway 140, and Highway 41, remain open all year.

Please note: This year, the Tioga Pass will be closed until late June.

A great time!
Pros:

I loved how dog friendly they were! They even gave my dog a little treat upon arrival. It's a great central location, great price for Mammoth. We went up for a quick weekend ski trip and it was the perfect place to crash! I called beforehand and asked if they could provide us with a mini fridge and they did, they also put us in the bottom floor for easier outdoor access for my dog. They were super accommodating and kind!

Got lucky and parked right near my room.What I think everyone likes best about motel.Six is usually the price. In this particular case, I guess because it was still considered a holiday season. The price was rather increased.

Cons:

I didn't have any hot water, at best had tepid water, which wasn't very pleasant to take a shower. However, I was refunded 50% of my costs, and that was very appreciative, and I will return

Ok to tolerate for couple of days. Still too high of a price for such basic accommodations

Cons:

Water in the sink never got warm, no matter how long I had to wait. Beds are uncomfortable, and might be with bugs. At least this is what my body was telling me when I was tossing and turning for half of the night. The temperature control is rudimentary, and we could not figure out how to make it colder, because it was very hot in the room in winter. We had to open the door to equalize. There is no bus stop right next to the motel. For skiers who are not so young anymore, it is too far to walk with the gear in the morning, and on the way back, it is a dangerous road crossing with a very difficult uphill climb. Seems like the motel could have done something for its customers about bus stops and walkways.

Clean, quiet, basic room on a budget!
Pros:

Walking distance to shops, restaurants and the shuttle!

Cons:

No air conditioning, no shampoo/ conditioner, blow dryer, fridge, or microwave in room. ( there is a microwave in lobby)

Incredibly hot, comes with bed and shower, not much else

Extremely hot in the room. Had to leave door and windows open. Even with AC on max only blew hot air. Neighbors also stated incredibly hot and they heard it was like this since last year. Borderline dealbreaker makes it hard to sleep because of how hot it is. Even with windows open (which lets in light at night making it hard to sleep) still sweating. Would not stay again unless this is fixed.
