A very relaxing stay, with a few things above that could have been easily improved / resolved
Pros:

Location, excellent food, courtesy of the staff. Excellent view from the balcony, the quiet place

Cons:

The discrepancy between what was written on Booking about the cost of lunch (10 €) and what the hotel claimed (13 €), as I booked half board and the lunch was an extra

The fact that even water (!!) was to be charged

The room did not smell very good

Not necessarily value for money, had much better experiences in the Canaries (Lanzarote included)
Pros:

Spacious rooms with great view. Sauna. Animation. Beach in front of the hotel.

Cons:

A wide variety of food is offered, but the overall quality is low to average (with the exception of the NY dinner). For example, there is almost no fresh fruit - more than 80% is canned, which is quite surprising given the location and the hotel’s rating. The pool is crowded most of the time.
The reception staff does not respond to messages sent well in advance multiple times.
However, other staff members are welcoming and pleasant.
