Disorganized Service and Unpleasant Experience
Pros:

The hotel was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the breakfast was both varied and delicious.

Cons:

We had a disappointing experience overall.
We wanted to have dinner at the restaurant, but after waiting for quite a long time, no one came to take our order. We asked at reception, and they said they would take the order at reception. There was also no clear information that the restaurant was self-service.
The food itself was not satisfactory. The Turkish dumplings were hard and undercooked. Although the soup was supposed to be a starter, it arrived together with the main course. There were bread crumbs left on the tables, and two of the dishes we selected from the menu were not available. The menu was already quite limited.
The hotel advertises free parking, but when we arrived, the parking entrance was closed. We had to leave our car in a nearby paid parking and carry our luggage. Only later did reception inform us that the parking could be accessed with a card, but there was no information about this either at the entrance or in advance. There is also only a single-lane road in front of the hotel, so it’s not practical to stop, check in, and figure this out unless it is clearly explained beforehand.
The location is also not as convenient as expected. Although it shows around 35 minutes to central Istanbul, it took us nearly 2 hours in traffic. It is not particularly close to either the city center or the airport.
The staff were generally not very friendly.
We also had an issue with the air conditioning in our room. It was really cold unfortunatly. Since it was late at night and our child was already asleep, we couldn’t change rooms. However, the night staff were helpful — they brought us a heater and seemed genuinely sorry about the situation.
Overall, we would not choose to stay here again.
