Hôtel Vert

The location is good as it is located just before the bridge to Mount Saint Michel and the amenities are basic. No minibar fridge and no safe. Stayed for a night so it was OK. And no lift.

Hotel was basic, had hot water, clean room and bathroom. Unfortunately, no WiFi or coffeemaker, and noticed no elevator (didn’t need one personally, but others might). The biggest positive was location, in front of a free shuttle that gets you a few minutes from Le Mont St Michel, although you could walk 30 minutes and get there.
We arrived by train in Pontorson train station, which is far from the hotel, and had to take an Uber, 28 euro. An alternative is a local bus (line 2 - 4,30 euro) that runs roughly every hour but since we arrived at a later time it wasn’t running anymore on that day.
Overall, we used the hotel for resting and showering only, serviceable, no luxuries.

Great location for visiting Mt St Mochel

Definitely a 2 star hotel , very convenient to stay close to Mt st Michel , properly conditions are very basic , old and lack of maintenance, for what you’re paying you can do better.

Great location for camping, dining convenience, excellent customer service.
Did not like that there was not enough in the room, like a coffee machine.

Breakfast was good, the bed comfortable and the room clean

The hotel is nicely located inside the village (mostly hotels and restaurants) and you can walk out to the island from here and have a spectacular view.
The room was ok but no AC so got really hot, and when we opened the window there was som ac nearby being very noisy.
The Wi-Fi was close to non existing even when you logged in. The breakfast buffet was ok for the price.

Carpets are pretty soiled, room rate is expensive for what you get

The hotel was clean and water was hot. The hotel does not have AC but was lucky to have a cool night with window open. Room was rustic. It was nice to have the shuttle to Mont St Miche right outside the hotel.

Basic but clean and comfortable hotel

It could have been bad luck, but we were in the middle of a heatwave, i am pretty sure my filters were set to hotels with air conditioning, the hotel does not have air conditioning, our room was facing west and sunset was at 10:00 pm. We could not be in the room. There were insects all over the beds, bathroom, toilet paper, towels. It was explained to us the bugs were due to the weather and that they did not stung but we couldn’t take it. We enjoyed the location, the parking, the transportation to Mont Saint Michel, we watched the beautiful sunset and then we left.

Nous avions réservé notre chambre via un site qui nous indiquait que notre chambre serait disponible à 16h00.Lors de notre arrivée vers 15h00 la jeune dame sans aucun sourire nous informe que notre chambre serait disponible vers 16-17 ou 18 heures sans aucune raison. Nous lui montrons que sur notre réservation il était indiqué 16h00 et elle nous repond mais ici c’est comme ça. L’hôtel vert et bien situé pour aller au Mont-Saint-Michel, juste à côté du pont pour traverser.À part ça c’est un hôtel de base que je ne retournerai pas. Le service est très limite, je veux quand même mentionner que c’est propre.

Very close to MSM. The free shuttle to MSM was in front of the hotel.

the property is old and no AC which i expected.
it is acceptable since it is a 2 stars hotel. but its not really cheap price.
anyway, the worsts is a rude older lady in the reception.
we want to ask her something, and want to shows the phone screen to her with a proper translation, but she just ignore us and saying no rudely.
and her attitude is just the same when we checked in. she told me room is not ready when it was 4pm, then i just reply her and want to ask but the booking confirmation said we can check in at 4pm? i just ask 1 time normally, she turn rude immediately.

Good basic space with no frills; surprised that they had no elevator in a new building. Problems with wifi which the staff were unable to solve - however, other than that, they were most helpful and welcoming.

Perfect location for visiting Mont St Michel with the shuttle bus stopping right in front of hotel. Alternately you can enjoy the walk, approx 30 min with lovely views. Family of four, stayed in a quadruple room which was very spacious and clean. Great water pressure in shower. Surroundings are peaceful and quiet, just sounds of birds so we slept wonderfully. The breakfast is an excellent value and I’d highly recommend it. I’d stay here again if we come back for another visit

The older woman at reception was very rude and unhelpful, especially if you don’t speak French. Hotel is outdated, no elevator, and Wi-Fi barely works. Booking apps say check-in is from 16:00, but we couldn’t check in until 17:00 because we didn’t pay the extra €15. Not worth it, better options in the same price range.
