He asked for a non-smoking room in the bathroom smelled like cigarettes. Just the bathroom but still. First person at the front desk was not nice when we checked in. But the person who checked is out was nice.

ok room - motel infected with covid - should have been told and masks should have been worn by staff

I was notified by email that the motel had been infected with covid! I didn't read that email until AFTER I checked out! Why weren't the reception staff wearing masks? Nothing was said to me at check in or when I got my coffee in the morning. The email specifically stated to be alert to check in and the coffee station. I just hope that area was properly disinfected. After checking in I did notice 3 people cleaning one room, which did seem odd, but a thought it was training. So now I am isolating in a cabin in the woods hoping I don't have covid! I don't care what peoples' political views are - serious infectious diseases that can cause death should be handled with the utmost care, particularly in the hospitality industry. So even though the room was fine, I am very disappointed in the front desk staff for blowing off this serious virus and being cavalier with my health!

Close to freeway

Cons:

Stain on bedsheets. Bugs behind bed. Shower was not clean. Shower curtain did not cover so bathroom floor was wet. Owner or worker did not send a house keeper to replace bedsheets. No microwave. Blood stain on pillow sheet and on curtains.

Not great, but it did provide what we needed. A bed to sleep in and a shower.

What I didn't know was that none of the rooms come with shampoo.If you wanted shampoo, you had to upgrade your room and they did not come with a refrigerator or a coffee maker or a microwave.Even though a microwave is provided to you in the lobby. Also, the showers heads were a bit low.
Other than that, the hotel provided what we needed, which was a place to sleep. And a shower we were able to get extra towels
And it was quiet at night.

Everyone has been so nice. There is 3 grassy areas (small) but nice.

Worst experience ever it was unclean and uncomfortable and customer service was not helpful

It was in a good part of town where everything was close.

Cons:

It wasn’t clean the room smelled like cigarettes, tv was cracked, bedsheets had holes in them, shower was dirty, we asked for extra pillows and they didn’t have any for a group of 5 we got 4 pillows, key card didn’t work, the hotel phone wasn’t even connected, desk clerk wasn’t even helpful if anything they sounded annoyed.
