the coffe was good front desk guy was friendly it had a balcony you could step out in front of room.good location.great access to shopping and food places.reasonable price.
very ran down the pool is dirty garbage can's were all full on the outside no ashtrays set out anywhere on the property.the rooms the numbers on the door not secured on.questioned if door really security locked. filthy air conditioner old.rooms stunk like stale smoke not cleaned good bed sheets very filthy look like they were never changed or washed! noisey customers in other rooms
The price wasn't bad
Front desk person bad no compassion for the situation I was in. Put us on the second floor when I was with a friend in dialysis. Took a long to check us in and was rude.
Room was dirty, comforter had a tear in it. Bathroom had bugs and bugs on floor. Due to sheer exhaustion, we put our own sheets down and suffered through it. When requested a refund, I never heard back. Wouldn't recommend
Very dated and rundown, photos on booking are not an accurate representation of what the motel looks like currently. First room they put us In was around the back of the motel, we walked to it and all of the contents of the room were out in the parking lot and the room was empty except for two people sitting in the room taking a smoke break, second room the tv was smashed, so they “upgraded” us from a two queen room to a king room because that’s all they had left and the floor was sticky and the corner shower was small enough it flooded the bathroom and the shower curtain wrapped itself around you as you showered. Overall we had a terrible experience and will not be using this motel in the future.
Close to down town.
All of it. It was in a bad neighborhood. The building was falling apart. Only half the room numbers were still on the doors. And the smell in the room was a combination of sweat and dead hooker. The sink had cigarette burns on it and a single sheet over the mattress. No fridge or microwave. I
Easy access to the place.
Cold coffee in the morning, no tap to rinse out coffee mug.
The beds and floors were filthy.
Literally everything.
IT was cheaper than the rest. That's about it. it had a pool but was full of possibly illegals who barely spoke English and were drunk. parking was decent, at least. rooms were painted and had newish flooring.
It was run down, they didn't clean the rooms daily, the TV barely worked, beds were hard, and there was a lot of shady characters hanging around. Was told a lot of thefts happen at this location. The rooms were tiny. the pool was full of drunk mexicans.
Cheaper than most
A rather dirty environment
I had a great stay at America’s Best Value Inn in Helena, Montana. The staff was friendly and welcoming, check-in was quick, and the room was clean and comfortable. The location was convenient, with easy access to the freeway, shopping, and downtown Helena. It was an affordable place to stay, and I would definitely consider staying here again.
I liked the initial price for the room.
When I arrived I noticed the establishment was run down. I got checked in and when we got to the room the number on the door was broken, so it wasn't readable. There were people outside smoking marijuana and a lot of run down vehicles in the parking lot. The room was in a state of disrepair, there were pits in the walls, the headboard and the furniture. The room smelled of bleach as if they were trying to cover up odors. Later it smelled like mold. The bed was uncomfortable and the description of the room was inaccurate. It advertised a couch which was nonexistent. There's a reason why there is only a picture of the television in the bookings listing. We stayed away as long as we could returning just to sleep. After the first night I checked out of our two night stay and went to another hotel. I would rate this as one of the top five worst hotel rooms I've stayed at.
Location
Everything, the ac didn’t work, the bathroom door was hanging off the jamb on one hinge, broken toilet seat, broken light shade, cracked flooring, exterior had trash all over the place and when I confronted management I had to take him in to the unit because he said I was lying.
Cost, but only compared to other hotels in the area.
1. Immediately upon arrival I was informed the room I booked was not available, and the "staff" attempted to upsell me on a different room. Ultimately I was given another room at the price I reserved, but not without grumbling.
2. Site advertises having a pool, but it appears to have been closed since the days of COVID.
3. Rat droppings on the floor of the room, and blood stains on the wall.
It was a cheap place to sleep. I was grateful that was literally all we were doing.
The shower was tiny. The bed was super uncomfortable. The whole place looked run down and falling apart. The loving mechanism on the door didn't latch. Housekeeping banging on our door before checkout was unnecessary. No real amenities or comfort offered in this hotel. But it was cheaper than the rest.
