I stayed in this hotel for about 12 days during my Umrah, and unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing.
Very Poor Management: There is no sign of proper administration. The hotel seems to run on “auto mode” with no accountability.
Uncooperative Staff: The staff is very unhelpful and often rude. Despite repeated requests, no one responded properly.
No Cleaning Service: During my entire stay, the room and washroom were never cleaned. No fresh towels, no basic bathroom accessories, and no housekeeping at all.
Bed Sheet Issue: Even after repeatedly asking, the duty staff (a Bangladeshi national working there) never changed the bed sheets or provided assistance. He acted as if complaints did not matter, showing no fear of accountability.
Unfair Charges at Checkout: The most shocking part was when leaving the hotel. The staff tried to blackmail guests by imposing fines for even the smallest dirt on bed sheets — sheets which they never bothered to clean or change throughout the stay.
Although the rooms are somewhat spacious, the lack of service, rude behavior, and blackmailing practices make this hotel one of the worst choices for international visitors.
➡️ I strongly urge the Saudi authorities to investigate such hotels, as they damage the reputation of hospitality in Makkah/Madinah and cause unnecessary problems for pilgrims coming for Umrah and Hajj.
It was our first time going to holy land so we agreed to stay in this hotel when our agent recommended it as he said it is in walkable distance.
We reached hotel past midnight, tired, and nope, staff couldn't find our booking. Worse was that they speak very minimum English. We waited for a good 20 mins not knowing what happened or what to do as they just asked us to wait.
Hotel corridor was dirty. Guests put their bins outside but staff couldnt catch up removing them. Once there was even dirty ihram clothes just next to elevator.
Bed was alright (as expected from the price) but bathroom was horrible. There is serious plumbing issue so water just flooded in whenever you flushed the toilet or used the sink. Dont even mention about shower, as it always sprayed outside shower curtain no matter how hard you tried. We ended up buying kitchen rolls to mop our bathroom as no staff came for room cleaning during our stay. So make your own bed, mop your bathroom, get yourself towels and toiletries.. and dont forget to throw your own bin!
They have enough elevators, but bad queues happen especially before/after prayer times, given the purpose why guests are there.
Hotel needs to invest a lot on cleaners and plumbing works, also reception staff that at least know basic conversation in English since guests come from all walks of life and backgrounds.
The only good thing about this hotel is their location, as it is pretty much walkable to/from Masjidil Haram on a busy street of Ibrahim Khalil, where you can find everything on the cheaper side including food.
Each to their own, but I personally wouldn't stay in this hotel next time I go (insya Allah) as I need cleaner place with no bathroom issue to give myself a good rest.
One of the worst hotels ever and terrible staff… I have booked a couple of days and choose the option pay at the property… they cancelled my booking while I was on the train to Macca with no access to my mail… they transferred to another hotel with double the agreement amount… stating it is better and closer to Haram… they lied that they got me a discount 200 dirham off per night as the other hotel confirmed that this was a lie… they agreed to pay to for my taxi to the other hotel but when I reached it… no one knew about this agreement…Turky bin Khaled (+966 58 157 2749)(a guy in the front office) was a big liar
The worest stay ever
They don't have any security system and anyone can come to your room to ask you for check out time even he is not working at the hotel same which happened with us yesterday
Totaly not recommended
But also to be honest i would like to thank mr. Islam at reception for his cooperation
the absolute worst hotel one could stay in. the absolute worst. rude staff at the reception, the rooms stink, the windows were jammed and dirty, the bathrooms not fully functional, no clean towels, no clean sheets, so much more wrong with it that i want to address but can’t because of time constraint. please do not stay here if you want to have even a semblance of peace on your trip.
In fact, it was a very bad experience. The rooms are dirty and do not match the photos posted. The food smells bad, is not fresh, and is not available in the necessary quantity. The sheets are torn and smell musty. It was the worst experience in my life.
Lifts are very poor and mostly there is long que in front of lifts in lobby, when lift become open, people run towards lift door like there is something special, most of the time after nimaz this scene happens.and sometimes these turns off immediately.

the hotel is very bad and the rooms are unclean at all.
I have a very bad experience with this hotel because I found that the room is unclean and request from reception to clean this room or change it, and send me the supervisor and clean only one bed and doesn't clean the whole room and the door of the balcony is opened and the bath is very dirty
the staff is vey irresponsible and no room service no one came for cleaning of room until we call them .....they had a 6 bed room left but they gave us a 5 bed and the 6th member was always changed in other and other rooms ......they don,t even no anything they are very mad ....i cannot explain all the thing but they were mad and there wifi had no response in the room and i have to go out for using it and no room signal even what a mad hotel was that .....there were two pakistanis gohar and shafeeq ....they were just teasing us and were eating haram and sending to their families
الفندق جيد نوعا ما يعيبه رائحه الغرفه غير جيده والواي فاي سي
The hotel is a nice budget hotel at holy city "Makka" to do your worships and prayers.
Good things are:
- Nice room space for two persons.
- The room is equipped with a heater to prepare a dinner or a drink.
- There's a free wireless access in rooms.
- Decent bathroom.
- A nice lobby with a spacious place for having a breakfast or a drink.
- It's fairly far from the Holy Masjed (About 1 Km).
Non-good things are:
- No safe in the room (There's a locker in the lobby if required)
- We didn't find soaps or shampoo in the bathroom.
The checkin process was not pleasant as it took them long time to figure out that i actually booked the room probably I got this room booked at an unbelievable price in the month of Ramadhan. Eventually after waiting long they gave me a room but next day there was a knock on the door from house keeping asking they have instructions to get the room ready for next customer. I told them to get it checked again as I booked the room for 2 nights. At the day of check out I got a call again before check out time to kindly leave the room now.
The hotel has a policy to clean the room after every 2 nights not every night, probably during ramadhan. Our room didnt have towels with not enough toiletories, i got them next day uoon asking from house keeping.
The hotel is modern and at a reasonable doable walk to Alharam. Around 20 plus mins
This hotel has a good price, not far from Haram , clean , helpful staffs. But unfortunately I was surprised by one of the staff who responded me on the phone, he refused to give me his name;when I complained to him about some items missing. Otherwise it was okay
The stay was comfortable with friendly staff. Although, location is excellent in terms of available shopping / eat options but hotel Shoul look into the breakfast options for guests.
Their was no room service, no napkins no cleanliness in the rooms, we have stayed for five days still no one ever seen on the reception to complain about it no water provide in the room the only good thing its close to the haram
