Stay here during the week, avoid for weekend stays if you like to sleep.
Pros:

Great location, comfortable bed, modern facilities.

Cons:

Beware of the night club. Being on a higher floor does not stop the noise. Friday and Saturday night music can go as late as 5am.

The location and the quality of the rooms and facilities is very good.

Room lighting could be improved, there’s no ceiling lights for the most part leading to inconsistent lighting though out.

The location is really convenient, and the staff were really friendly and helpful. The room was okay
Pros:

The staff are really friendly and helpful, including the security who helped me up the steps on day 1 (I was on crutches).
The bed was comfortable, and the facilities adequate. The fridge worked properly!! Noting that many do not in hotels.

Cons:

The back, no-steps entrance and open after 9.00 PM has many flies (live and dead), as it opens on to a laneway. As a result, I did not feel that the reception areas were not really that clean.
There was a very loud party/music/DJ event in the building adjacent to Citi (lt Collins street) on Saturday night, 10.00pm to 4.30 AM. boom, boom, boom music. Earplugs couldnt drown it, and as I was travelling for work and working Fr- - Sunday from 7.45 am, this was not great.
On the positive side, noise from the bar on the ground floor of the Citi hotel didnt carry up to level 5.
The bottom sheet wasnt fitted or large and kept coming off during the night.

Extremely noisy. There is a nightclub in the building that plays loud techno all night on weekends to 6am. We got zero sleep on those nights.

Cons:

There is a nightclub in the building and it is extremely loud, the bed / pillow were not that comfy, the bathroom was tiny and dated and the chair is the room had very suspicious stains. Apologizing and offering ear plugs at check in is not good enough.

We were pleased to be upgraded to a suite, it was clean.

Cons:

On arrival we were told nightclub area so would be some noise, they offered earplugs- we were thinking would be just a bit of street noise but no was a rooftop club playing all night and was so loud thought we were in the club. No sleep. We were 6th floor on Saturday.

Pros:

Close to the conference venue. Adequate for a quick afforable stay.

Cons:

Strange the room didn't have any ceiling lights so was quite dim. Room had a connecting door to another hotel room that wasn't locked from the side of the other room and I had a stranger enter my room at midnight through that door when I was in bed. Reported the lack of privacy and security issue the next morning offered and desk staff took the complaint seriously and investigated but not offered any compensation for this breach of privacy and security.
