I would consider staying here again. Clean and comfortable stay.
Pros:

Clean hotel, good location, and it definitely stays busy at least during my visit. Room was nice and absolutely no complaints. In great shape. Housekeeping and most of the staff around the hotel were great. Always friendly, and courteous.

Front desk was the one area that fell short for me. Check-in felt a bit cold and not very welcoming, and that tone carried through a few other interactions. Nothing major, just could have been more personable and attentive.

Pricing was on the high side at about $450 a night + tax and fees. For an HGI, that felt tough to justify, even with the location but the DC area was really busy during this stay.

Overall good stay for conference
Pros:

Great location; nice restaurant in hotel, rooms comfortable size

Cons:

Pool small and did not receive drink we ordered to pool.
Door lock stopped working at night and was unable to get in but front desk got someone to fix it.

Outstanding service and restaurant
Pros:

Milicia and Daria were both so nice to my Family and I during a very confusing check in process.

The reservation was under my wife’s name and not mine.

They both were friendly too!

Milicia shared a very pleasant cultural moment as well. That is a big deal considering the learning experiences that surround Washington DC.
