Really nice hotel, lovely staff and comfortable stay.

I chose this hotel to celebrate my wife's birthday, and it turned out to be one of the best decisions i made. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed so warmly and treated with such elegance. The team had thoughtfully arranged everything so beautifully and made the evening feel incredibly special even without us requesting anything in advance.

It truly became the most memorable birthday evening. The food was absolutely amazing, and the service was outstanding. A special mention to the Food and Beverages Manager Mr. Dhammika, who was exceptionally kind and attentive. He is truly a gem to the hotel.

We had a nice stay. Sadly for us just one night because we had a tour trip and needed to travel along. But we deffinatly could stay here for a longer time. The food was very good and the hospitallity of our host Ravidu was great.

I was a frequent guest to Chaarya Resort and Spa (3 times before) whenever I visit Katharagama. This time they called and said they would like to upgrade us to Chaarya Lake. It was actually a downgrade and a disappointment.
Service was bad, food was below par, and the room was surprisingly very small with insects.
I have been returning to same place frequently due to their impressive service but utterly disappointed this time and not so sure will return again

The resort is close to Yala National Park. The facilities are great and the dinner and breakfast buffet will cater to all tastes. The staff are very professional and friendly. Our waiter, Ravidu, was particularly helpful and friendly.

We stayed here for 2 nights on a Riviera Tour, the rooms are located in small blocks & are split level so you really do need to be careful & our ground floor room we did feel a bit overlooked so the curtains had to stay closed all of the time as we were near the bar which I would say was quite noisy as was the restaurant which is to small, not a lot of space. The pool area is also very small & we found that due to the grass being watered around the sun loungers it was very muddy.

You will find lots of groups having wedding photo's taken in the grounds.

Excellent hotel . Had a great stay. Very good amenities however like most Asian hotels most of the breakfast is cold. Location was also very good.

We stayed at the Chaarya lake ( next to the lake). The boutique hotel is wonderful! The view is amazing , the room is lovely, the dinner was great and the staff (manager and team) are one of a kind. Highly recommended.

Amazing view, excellent food, and a truly wonderful overall experience. Everything was top-notch, and the staff were extremely friendly, helpful, and professional. One of the best stays we’ve had. Thank you for the warm and great hospitality!

Wonderful location just by the garden with breathtaking views and nice breeze. Relaxing atmosphere by the pool.
Rooms clean, tidy and spacious. All staff very friendly. specialy Asanka treat you with a smile all the time.
Dinner buffet is great with nice atmosphere. Recommended for everyone.

We had a very pleasant family stay at Chaarya Resort & Spa. The resort is surrounded by nature and offers a calm, relaxing atmosphere, which was perfect for spending quality time together as a family.
The rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable, making our stay very convenient with children. The property is well maintained, and there is plenty of open space for kids to move around safely. The swimming pool was a big hit with our family.
The staff were extremely friendly and attentive, always willing to help and ensure we were comfortable throughout our stay. Their hospitality truly made a difference.
Food was tasty and well presented, with a good variety of options suitable for both adults and children. Overall, Chaarya Resort & Spa is a great choice for families looking for a peaceful getaway with good service, comfort, and a welcoming environment. We would happily recommend it to other families.

We had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The room was clean and comfortable, the location was convenient, and the staff were very helpful. Breakfast was enjoyable with a nice view. Overall, a good experience and value for money. Staff Nishantar was very friendly and helpful ✨

Beautiful hotel, the rooms were lovely and as well the outdoor area. We booked a message as well last min and it was by far the best aryuvedic message, we felt so relaxed and at peace. The food was not the best, but overall great hotel and close to Yala national park.
