We paid extra to upgrade as it was our anniversary and thought we were getting a four poster bed but just a normal bed. Was too tired to go see about it.
It was still lovely though.
The hotel itself was fine
Not being notified by booking .com about the beer festival that was on .I needed a peaceful hotel after being at my brothers funeral and the manager put us on the 3rd floor saying we wouldn’t be able to hear the music It was as though the band was in our room -SO loud . My daughter had a room further round and had no noise

Room was a little bit dated with a crack in the window and bath but the bed was comfortable

The bar was closed on our arrival at 1600. The lady charged with opening the bar obviously didn’t want to be there and her attitude made this so obvious. The only minus during our stay.
