Clean room, great staff
It was delicious
The hot tub water was not hot but due to a power outage - not the management.
There were some technical problems with my check-in and Brooklyn and Mike really went the extra mile to make sure I was taken care of. It’s when things get a little rocky that great customer service really shines. Very much appreciated!
Staff was not courteous, was on phone while I was checking in. Slid keys across to me, mumbled information. He's been there for a long time and every year is not nice.
The convenience of having the wedding reception connected to the hotel.
Terrible customer service. The bedding was dirty. There were blood stains on the comforter 🤢.
No Kleenex and one roll of toilet paper. I would not recommend this place to anyone you don’t care about where you sleep. I’d be afraid of bed bugs at this place.
everything was great
everything was great
Quiet
No grab bar in shower. No exercise facility
Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great and the rooms were clean.
The place was clean and the furnishings in the lobby were pleasant and well-maintained.
We felt a big lack of welcome from the desk manager - in fact, he intimidated me and his harshness seemed habitual. Both mornings we were disturbed by knocks on the door wanting . . . what? They knew we weren't checking out the first day, and we hadn't checked out yet the second day. One of those mornings, while my husband was in the bathroom, the maid opened the door. My husband had to holler that he was in the bathroom and we weren't ready to check out yet. Breakfast was limited in variety and amount. There was the opportunity to make a waffle, and there were some little muffins, but almost nothing that wasn't sweet. I managed to get a small bagel and some yogurt. The second day was not re-stocked from the first, so there was no yogurt or much of anything else. A sign said the coffee machine was broken, so there was no coffee.
Perfect location to where I needed to be
Mold in rooms, rooms not made up and person answering phones was hard to hear, understand and just plain RUDE
Expensive for a small town
SUPER UNDER STAFFED!!
When I first booked this room, in FEBRUARY, I put in the comments I was requesting early check-in.
Two days before my stay, I called to reconfirm this. The man who answered the phone was very hard to understand. Had to repeat myself several times. His answer to my question, "I will be able to check in at 1:00pm, correct?", was YES.
Get to the hotel, nobody at the desk. Nobody to be found period. Nobody answered the phone at the desk with the note to call and someone will help you.
The hotel was booked with people all going to the same wedding. When the guy finally showed up at the desk at 2pm (he had been at lunch for about two hours), the lobby was FULL of people trying to check-in.
Ended up changing clothes in the bathroom down the hall.
Finally get into my room with about 20 minutes before having to leave for the wedding. Nice big holes in the wall about the bed where apparently a large picture had been hanging.
When I went to check-out the next morning, again NOBODY AT THE DESK. People had left notes saying they were checking out of their rooms. I did the same.
I get this was a VERY small town, but you need people at the desk at critical service times. And maybe, you need to delay taking your lunch when you know A LOT OF PEOPLE ARE GOING TO BE CHECKING IN.
About the only nice thing I can say about this hotel is, at least they had my reservation.....I hope to never again stay here again.
